"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginnin with God. All things came into being though Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it...
"There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who where born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt amog us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Being a part of God, no, Christianity is NOT polytheistic. The Trinity of God consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You'll never understand it this side of Heaven, and no one else will either.

Stay calm. Firstly, Jesus was never God, just a mere mortal sent to save the Lost people. People, being people, played around with his words and made him God.
Secondly, he didnt find or invent Christianity or Trinity because if that was what he wanted to Establish, he would have mentioned it in the Bible. Sadly, you cant find that in the Bible.

If you ask who founded e=mc2 ?
Einstein

Who founded universal gravity theory?
Isaac Newton

Who founded telephone?
Alexander Graham Bell

Who founded Islam?
Muhammad

Who founded Christianity?
Jesus ? Wrong, it is Paul

Many Christians dont know this and couldnt be bothered to find out. Jesus was not god and he didnt invent Christianity or trinity.

Depending on one's viewpoint; it might. The term God in English; comes from several terms in Hebrew; some singular (such as El), some plural (such as Elohim (spelling?). Jesus was Lord (not lord), YHWH, Jevovah, etc from Genesis-Malachi, but that part is a deeper review than posed here for now.

Not really.
Jesus is the son of God.
Jehovah God is the only almighty God.

True Christians worship God alone, and acknowledge Jesus' sacrifice. But Jesus and God are separate beings.

No, because that's what the Trinity is all about. 3 in 1.

We have 1 God, 3 persons.

No...Christianity is Pantheistic. The Biblical equation of God to acts of nature, and the definition of God within the New Testament itself, all provide the basis of appeal to this belief system.

Yes and No! Jesus and God are two distinct beings, yet they are one(United). Just like all those who receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they become one with God, via the Holy Ghost.

You muslims are REALLY thick. How many times do we have to go through this?
Think of the small-town cop who is ALSO the judge AND the city clerk. Why can't God wear three hats as well?
