Yes. In addition to millions of testimonies of people who know
God, there is undeniable, scientific evidence for his existence as well.
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created
by natural means. This is a law because it has been demonstrated to
be true 100% of the time. But everything that exists is made of energy
in different forms. The only conclusion about the origin of energy in
the universe, in light of a scientific law, is that it must have been created
supernaturally. To say there is no God is to contradict a scientific law.
Honest people are forced by scientific observations and objectivity to
conclude that there is a God.
The second law of thermodynamics states that usable energy
cannot be increased in a closed system. Observation of our universe
shows that usable energy is decreasing like a clock winding down.
However, the universe, like a clock, cannot wind down unless it had
original usable energy. The only conclusion about the origin of this
usable energy is that it began supernaturally. There is a God.

this theory proves evolution is wrong - nothing can be created by itself!! SO God created us!!

while it looks like great scientific proof... I have to still go by the change in my heart and soul when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Yes, there is a God.. one God eternal...

I like your thought process on this! Thanks for sharing!

Have you read "Origin of Species"? Or "The Enchanted Loom"? Both postulate evolution but admit to all the shortcomings of the theory. Even today, scientists argue about so called "evidence" and none can agree on any of the so called "proofs" of evolution.
There are high stakes involved for the first person or group that can prove evolution is a fact. Just like any other theory, there usually is tampering with the evidence and outright lies about their importance. Mankind will go to any means to try to prove that God does not exist. But even Darwin had to admit that the means by which life started in the first place is still a mystery

The beginning of the universe is not subject to thermodynamics -- indeed, the beginning of the universe CREATES thermodynamics.

Your proof is flawed fundamentally.

Further, the laws of thermodynamics are violated regularly. Atoms would not be stable if they were not. The issue isn't if they're violated; they must be. The issue is if they are violated such that the violation is more than necessitated by Heisenburg & Schrodinger's results.

Virtual particles must exist, but they directly violate thermodynamics -- but only within the narrow boundaries of Heisenburg.

Thariq:

Pity that the Qu'ran describes the development of a human embryo incorrectly.

Would you trust someone who claims to have made a machine that didn't work the way they claim it does?

--------

Oh really? And do tell how the theory of thermodynamics proves evolution wrong?

I suppose you're going to assert that the second law of thermodynamics means that you can't get order from chaos?

Pray tell, how does a combustion engine work? You blow something up, and your car moves forward. You can in fact create order so long as you create as much or more disorder in doing it. Your car moves forward, but produces less energetic molecules and produces a lot of heat -- and heat is just about pure entropy.

Earth is not a closed system... it receives tons of usable energy every day from the sun. The sun pumps out HUGE amounts of heat and thus entropy, whereas life doesn't create a whole lot of order in comparison.

Your second attack is fundamentally flawed as well.

Oops you goofed.

What if the first law of thermodynamics is flawed?

Or

The best estimate today is that the total energy of the universe is zero (within a small "zero point energy" that results from quantum fluctuations), with the positive energy of matter balanced by the negative potential energy of gravity. Since the total energy is zero, no energy was needed to produce the universe and the first law was not violated."

Bummer huh. Just when you thought you copied and pasted a good argument.

I realy didnt want to read your proof but if you think your science can denote whether or not there is a god, who made those scientists?who made that which the scientific studies for example the earth, trees, people like you and me.If you can find a logical answer to those questions i would love to hear of these please contact me at KOMarkland@yahoo.com and i will use both the bible and nature to show that there exists a creator.

Well let me ask you a few questions. Just say i bring a machinary in front of you that no one has ever seen before and i ask you who knows the function of this machine. You would obviously say the manufacturer or the maker or the creator or the inventor etc. So how do you think the world came out, or the universe and all the nature. If it just came out of no where how can it be so perfect. Okay moving on, the study of embryology right now has just been discovered recently that is about a hundred years ago. But who do you think told about the development of an embryo before 1400 years ago in the Holy Qura'an, obviously the Creator (GOD). Next point, it was only before like 500 years or so people started to admit that the world is spherical in size but then the Quran said this 1400 years ago. Who do you think would have said this, obviously the Creator(GOD). My next point, it was only a few years ago that science told us that the sun rotates on its own axis, but Allah said this in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago in chapter 21 verse 33 ( you can confirm it by referring to the Quran). It was only recently that science says that mountains prevent the Earth from shaking but my Creator, Allah said this 1400 years ago in Chapter 78 Verse 6 and 7. And another point, science only recently found that the universe is expanding but Allah said this in the Quran before 1400 years ago in chapter 51 verse 47. Hope i have proved enough about the existence of God. Im not an expert in Islam, but there are people with better knowledge than me and all ill say is Islam is the true relegion and hope to see you as another brother or sister in Islam. You can watch the video of this expert speaker which might make you a bit more confident and reading the Quran would clarify all your doubts im sure. If you have time watch both these videos-

Actually you are wrong. The law of conservation of mass/energy only states that total mass/energy is conserved. The key here is that Gravitational potential energy is negative. During Inflation it is believed mass/energy simply forms balanced with negative gravitational potential energy while overall total mass/energy is zero.

In the second paragraph your assumption God is responsible for initial order is simply a logical fallacy "begging the question". Personally I suspect the reason for order is simply a selection effect. Only in regions with high initial order can we evolve. We simply do not live in other regions because those regions do not permit our existence.

Did you every stop to wonder why over 90% of physicists who actually perform research in cosmology are atheists. If your silly little argument had any validity they would all be theists but actually few are.

Ok, I don't argue that there isn't a god, what I argue is who that god is. Proof of a god does not automatically mean proof of any religious conception of god.

There is one proof that is even more compelling to me, and I have never come across anyone who could explain it using natural phenomenon. Every living cell contains a blueprint, encoded INFORMATION. Information suggest intelligence. How does non-thinking matter create information?

Hate to burst your bubble, truly, but according to latest from science, at the center of the universe matter is being continually created and at the end of the universe continually destroyed. Just another example of they can't prove anything, needed an answer, and pulled it out of their collective a**es. I say again, and always, faith in God is not a thing of intelligence!!!!! It is a matter of the heart, and a thing of WISDOM!!!! If wisdom were intelligence, it wouldn't be called wisdom.

"The only conclusion about the origin of energy in
the universe, in light of a scientific law, is that it must have been created supernaturally." This is just silliness. It is the equivalent of "We don't know yet, so goddidit." Piffle.
