Ha ha ha.You just summed up most mental illness.People love to live their whole lives based on what happened to them as a very young child.I think you've hit the nail on the head.As long as you live in the past you'll always be a prisoner of it.Get over it.You can't change it no matter what. This is the best question I've ever seen posted in mental health.

Feeling sorry for you won't help you. Finding help so that you're no longer a victim ever again... that will help you.

You need to get in a place that is safe and get rid of the victum role and go on with life.
Try a local college. They have lots of free counselling to get you up and running in a new career or direction.

You can't always control what happens to you in life but you can control your thoughts and feelings...
If you call yourself a victim then that's how you'll always see yourself

Well then un-victimize yourself. We can all only feel sorry for you for so long before it gets really, really old.

I don't feel sorry for you, but I would like to help you
Stop being a victim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only one that makes you a victim is you ... you may allow others to victimize you, but it all stems from you.
Take charge of your life, go forward and live it to its fullest!
Raising your self-esteem would be a good start.

Your life is not as bad as you think it is---others have it way worse than you do so be thankful for what you have in your life and learn to live with the things in your life which are beyond you

Damn, just deal with it. We all have our problems. Go boohoo to someone that cares, like a therapist or a boyfriend(s). Don't think about the bad, put it past you and continue on your merry path of life.
