Most of the time, there isn't a treatable problem causing tinnitus, so treatment options are usually limited. If the problem is something that comes and goes, chances are that there is probably sinus inflammation, build-up of ear wax, a vascular condition, or some other treatable problem. Since you used the word 'permanently' to describe your condition, it looks like you might be out of luck. Your best bet is probably checking with a hearing specialist to what options are available.
