Why do people who aren't native english speakers pronounce my name the way people with their accents/alphabet pronounce it? We're not native aramaic speakers and I'm afraid you problaby don't "call him by his given name" either. And it seems he's not as worried about it as you are, I prayed for my friend's son to be healed in Jesus name and he was.

In English it is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Allowance is made for other languages which should follow the titles of Father (Lord) Son (Jesus) Christ (Holly Ghost).*
There are many people named Jesus but they are not Jesus the Christ the Lord of heaven and earth.
God can handle the language changes. Remember He is the one who confounded human language in the first place

For the same reason we always called Beijing "Peking" and Yangon "Rangoon" and other English bastardizations of foreign words. Now the pronunciation has stuck.

Same reason people insist on calling people "Mike" when their given name is "Miguel." Translation and slight cultural bias.

If you are referring to Emanuel, that means God is with us.
Jesus is the Christ.
