I promised to give 10% to the Church. Don't you think he could trust me? That would be one hundred thousand. Thank what he could do with all that? Do you think he really needs that much? Don't you think a couple of thousand would actually do?

God thinks you're worth more then all the riches on the earth, for the Bible so states this fact! Mark 8: 37, Hebrew 2:3 That's true for everyone else as well! That's why He sent down Jesus to die for you, them and me. John 3:16 Yet you still want material riches! Sounds a bit like me!
I'd like to have a winning lottery ticket as well, but I know that my God isn't going to give me the winning numbers, by sending down Gabriel with them, or by any other means,i.e. telepathy. He is NO respecter of persons, the Bible also so states!
If God gave you a million dollars, or the winning numbers for the lottery, He would be showing you 'favoritism', choosing you as His favorite, over everyone else! Now in doing this, then He would have to give everyone the same gift, and that would eventually lead to a great deal more pain, suffering, people going hog wild buying more weed, drugs, alcohol, or even some Christians backsliding and possible loosing their salvation. Yes that is possible! I know some on this board probably don't agree, but I don't believe in 'once saved always saved' unless you were really saved in the first place!
And if you were really saved in the first place, you would want to draw closer to the true source of riches, and that's when you draw nigh unto your God! He says: 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness, and ALL these things(material riches?) will be added unto you"! Matt. 6:33

God doesn't need our money and He also knows what money does to people. Humans created the use of money, not God. If God feels you should have a million dollars, then you will, but He doesn't negotiate. It would mean more if you gave your last penny from your heart, trusting that God will turn it into a blessing for you, than to give 10% to the church. It is God's money, He is the one who enables us to have a job. He gives us health and a brain with which to think. We should handle our money as stewards, responsibly.

Why are you praying for a million dollars? Do you honestly think that God NEEDS your measly 10% that you would so thoughtfully give to the Church? Nope. He doesn't need one single dime of your money or anyone else's money for that matter, to accomplish what He wants to accomplish. It isn't about money with God. It's about obedience and faith. With God, it's the "principle of the thing" that counts. If you are asking for a million dollars and trying to bargain with God by offering to so generously share your wealth with the church, then God is going to find it amusing that a mere human thinks they are doing God a favor by giving to the church, when everything in this world belongs to God anyway. God sees our hearts and our motives, and He also knows what is best for us. These are things that He takes into consideration when He answers our prayers.

"Lottery Ticket"

A good and devout man praised and worshiped God his whole life. God was the first on his mind when he got up, throughout the day, and his last thought before he fell asleep. He probably even dreamed of God while sleeping. In turn he helped the poor, the lonley, and sick.

All his blessings he desired were bestowed upon him. He wanted a wife, childreen, and a honest job that served the Lord. He received all of these gifts, and continuted praising and praying.

Then his life started to get chanllenging. His child got sick running up the medical bills. The man prayed for the winning lottery ticket. He didn't win. Then his wife started having nervous break downs and it was recommended she be admited to an expensive psychiatric facility. He praised and prayed and praised and prayed asking God for a winning lottery ticket so he could provide for his family. Still, no winner. Even more tragic, the stress of it all caused him to loose his job for bad performance.

Praying, he yelled out to God, "Why have you foresaken me God? I just need the winning lottery ticket!!!"

God, heard the man and replyed to him " You have to buy the ticket to win it. "

You're not asking the right way ... apparently all those evangelic ministers on TV have the answer since all are multi-millionaires. I strongly suggest you go and speak with one of them. Also, you may want to get an audience with the Pope at the Vatican since the Catholic church is the single, largest and wealthiest religious organization ever in the history of the world. So ... you're obviously not asking for it the right way ...

God doesn't "give" anyone money. God doesn't need your 10% either, giving a tithe (what your 10% refers to) is a bond made between God and His followers. God doesn't need our 10%, but we accept that all we have comes from God and give Him 10% to honor Him. Your wanting to be rich is not of God. Try earning some $$$$$ some day.

You need to pray for the right things not material belongings. God doesnt work like that. You should pray that he will take care of you and guide you through life, be it hard or easy. And get a job and struggle like the rest of us!

You have to meet God half way here, have you purchased a Lottery Ticket? Keep the same number and keep playing it until your turn arrive. Money doesn't rain from Heaven you know.

For God millions or dollars are just a few pennies, and millions of years for Him are just a few moments. So wait a moment, He will answer your prayer.
