I'm sure most Christians realize by now that Jesus was Jewish and that he himself did not start a new religion. With that in mind, how do Christians see Isarlaism and Messianic Judaism? Are they considered to be forms of Christianity, or are they perceived as messianic sects of the old religion of Israel? Are Isars and Messianic Jews seen as right, wrong, or something in between?

(I'm Jewish, and I'm curious about what Christians think of these religious groups.)

Isarlaism is a new name and I'd like to know more about it so I will research some. When you chose a best answer please give some sources for Information.

I have great respect for Messianic Jews I believe they are the ones mentioned first as God's children.not that they have a preferential position necessarily but a great history.Surely most apostles were the first "Messianic Jews" and we other Christians study and........... sometimes even follow the teachings God sends us through them.We sing a song including the words" We'll all understand it better bye and bye" I hope to see you soon .We'll have plenty of time to visit about it then.

I think messianic Judaism is just like christianity, but with an emphasis on Jewish culture and the Torah, and is not ALL about Jesus like most other sects, which is good. Over half the bible was written befroe Jesus and should be treated equally. I have never heard of the other one.

This is the first time I have heard of Isarlaism, and after reading up on it, I know that I have never met one (even though I have been to Israel 3 times). Interesting.

However, Messianics are my brothers Yeshua. Nothing more, nothing less. When I fellowship with Messianic believers, I see no difference in our koinonia than any other brother who loves the Lord. Sometimes it is even a more rich experience if they are Israeli. They are a wonderful blessing in my life.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:12-13
Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

When it comes to blessing Jewish people, I do not just look for the Messianic. God said to bless and help all the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

enable me first maximum appropriate you. there is not any such element as Messianic Judaism. Jews who have self assurance in J*sus are Xians. Judaism is a faith; one can't be the two Jewish and Xian from now on than one could be the two Muslim and Buddhist.... Now; because this new flow replaced into respected as of 12/14/07, it quite is laughably new and intensely eccentric, to declare the least.... for this reason, it quite is a lot too early to tell.

I must confess to not knowing what Isarlaism is, but Messianic Judaism is great, especially the music! :) I have about 3 CDs of it already and I would love to get my hands on more.

And to completely answer your question, we definitely think of messianic Jews as our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Jesus fulfilled the law of the prophets. He is the promised messiah. He is the living Word. Those who refuse the bible refuse him.
