I see it a lot in this section: "Atheists believe that life happened by chance"...."Humans came to existence by random chance"...

Etc, etc.

How is a God creating us any different in that? Did we have any influence on that? Wasn't the possibility just as big that He'd never had created us? Or had created a different species?

Isn't it then not also just random luck that a God chose to create creatures like us?

To tackle your earlier point, the evolution of life isn't by chance. Natural selection whittles down the genetic mutations that prove helpful for survival and reproduction. There are billions of possible permutations within those criteria, as evidenced by the variety of species on our planet.

But it's never by chance. Einstein was an atheist, and he said that "god does not play dice." He was referring to physical laws, and not a god who hovers in the sky and throws humans together from clay, which seems far more arbitrary.

--YOU HAVE THE WRONG GOD--The God of the Bible does not gamble:

(Isaiah 65:11-12) “11 “But YOU men are those leaving Jehovah, those forgetting my holy mountain, those setting in order a table for the god of Good Luck and those filling up mixed wine for the god of Destiny. 12 And I will destine YOU men to the sword, and YOU will all of YOU bow down to being slaughtered; for the reason that I called, but YOU did not answer; I spoke, but YOU did not listen; and YOU kept doing what was bad in my eyes, and the thing in which I took no delight YOU chose.””

--Jehovah God's challenge to any IMPOTENT god in history and the outcome is a matter of record--FOR HE alone is the Historical God!

--WHAT HE did to the god's of Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Cananite nations etc. SHOWS there is indeed a great difference in the impotent little god's of men and Jehovah!

--WHEN HE created the earth and humans there was indeed purpose behind that action:

(Genesis 2:3-4) “3 And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and make it sacred, because on it he has been resting from all his work that God has created for the PURPOSE( my caps)of making. 4 This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.”

--There was no throwing of the dice when Jehovah & his Son Christ Jesus created the universe & ESPECIALLY the earth!

(Proverbs 8:22-31) “22 “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.”

--If you notice He & Christ as the "master worker"--were especially "fond.....sons of men." DEFINITE PURPOSE!

A) When you're omniscient, ain't no sich of an animule as "chance". You already KNOW what's up.

B) Each being in creation exists because the loving Trinity of God thinks that that being is just swell-dandy-fine and wants that being to be.

C) As any self-respecting mathematician will tell you, random chance is an insufficient explanation for the phenomenon of random chance. The pot cannot even hold itself. How can it then hold everything else?

No, it's not, nor is it just by chance that anything in history that has happened happened just by chance. God reveals to us in His word why He created us. He had a purpose and a plan, that is still unfolding. He wanted to make the magnitude of His grace known. The only way to do that is to create a being "a little lower than the angels," make them fall into the deepest pit of sin (we're getting there more and more by the day), redeem them from their choice to sin just because He loved us, then, not only restore them to their lost position of "a little lower than the angels," but indeed to make these people of grace His own sons and daughters. He accomplished this through the sacrifice and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Through His death, we have forgiveness of sins, and through His resurrection, we who believe will be resurrected to live with Him. Not chance, Divine Design.

We believe that we were created for God's pleasure and for His purposes. We were in His care even before we were born, we were created with thought. We believe that God is behind this whole operation. And not by change. : )

God does not operate like us. He does not need a whole lot time to make things happen. We need to do things in steps, God is different. He is not limited by the same stuff we are. : )

We say things happen by chance when no one has put effort and intention into it.

You don't make good grades by chance. You make good grades by intending to and working toward it.

God intended to create us and did what was necessary to create us.

That's entirely different from the universe just falling together independent of any will, intention, plan, creativity, or meaning.

Just because _we_ didn't influence it doesn't make it by chance. God influenced it. To say it happened by chance is to say it happened without any influence of will or intention.

Interesting question
Chance implies randomness (random mutations etc), but Creationism puts an intelligence behind our formation which implies a deliberate act to creation, not a 'chance' encounter between two cells.

No it isn't chance, God chose to create us so therefore it was a conscience decision, not a random act.

Evolution is not about chance. It is also not about mutation.
It is about the mixing of genes from two sucessful parents. This is not random.

God created the universe and he created evolution as his method of creating man. Of course he doesn't care what we look like. Only that we have the ability to be in his image spiritually
