Rather oddly yesterday this guy sneaked his number in my bag when I was talking to him. He was a bit too shy to give me his number out right, so he just dropped the number in my bad, rather sweet. So I just texted him and waited to see what his reply was.
I would go for the text, its easier than talking on the phone if you don't know them too well. Just send a short text like 'nice seeing you today' or something light. See what he says back

I asked for my guys number but he was the one that called me first. Times have changed so if you really like this guy, give him a call. Plus if he didnt want you to call him why would he give you his number. Call him,you might miss out on a good thing if you dont. Good Luck.

When a guy gives me his number, it means that he's definitely interested. If he wasn't, he would have asked for YOUR number instead. Since you know he already wants you, just call him up! Act casual, ask him what his plans are for the weekend and hint that they should involve you.

I'd text after a couple of days, don't want to seem too eager. Just be yourself, I bet he already knows you're shy and it's not a problem for him!

You should wait 2 days and call them. Say Hello and remember me and then if he's a MAN, he'll proceed to ask you out!

Text him. That way you won't have to worry about the tone of your voice and you can really think about what you are saying and you can read it yourself before you send it. -- Yeah that's the ticket - text him!!!!

I would call him to say hi. Text messages aren't always reliable.
