My Williams-Sonoma store offers cooking classes. I went onto their website and this seems to be close to Ft. Walton Beach. Hope this helps!

I will be attending the Taste of home cooking class and they advertised online. If you are looking for something like that then you can just plug in your zip and find out that way.
I lived in that area for a few years you can also check at Okaloosa-Walton college they often offer courses for things like that. I seem to recall a gourmet kitchen supply store near the route to Red Lobster and the IHOP.
Check your local paper as well. If you are military there may be something available on Eglin.

Are there any local community free papers down there? A lot of times they will list classes. Check with the regular local paper too [they probably have presence online]. More often than not, if there are any, they will have a list of all the cooking classes in the community taking reservations.

Check with your local arts and crafts retail stores that sell pottery products. They usually have a list of some sort. If you have a Michael's Craft Store or Joanne's Fabrics. I know here in Cali they offer classes at the store. As far as cooking classes and Pottery classes as well, check with your local cities community center or neighboring cities community center. They have all sorts of classes to offer that are really reasonable in price and are offered all year long. Call the Parks and Recreation department in your local or neighboring city.

Not quite sure where that is but LeCordon Bleu has schools in Florida that may offer courses for the novice. Most community colleges that offer adult education generally have someone in there doing that. Try your newspapers, call your local government offices like the town clerk who might know of something. Restaurants sometimes will post advertisements, churches, community bulletin boards etc! GOOGLE!

Do you have a local community college? The outreach/community class guide might have some. They're usually like once a week for 4-6 weeks or so. And pretty cheap (as in, not like normal tuition).

You can check the local vocational schools in your area and see which courses are available. I took a pastry class at the county vo-tech - it was quite fun!
