Geological isolation which caused diversification.

Our ancestry was in an environment that favored further development and complexity of the frontal cortecies of the brain. Their ancestry was fairly set and well evolved for the ecology they were in, so were not subject to the same selective pressures.

------

Because the part of the world our ancestry was in was producing selective pressures for the traits we consider 'human'.

------

There is no natural law which would allow the construction of the Colliseum with reasonable statistical likelihood. Thus, we deduce a creator, an architect.

There are many natural laws which allow the evolution of Homo sapiens sapiens based on environmental selective pressures. Thus, there is no need to deduce a creator.

Well when you factor in that environmental factors shift in favor of another set of causes and conditions to arise instead of the usual, or whatever, another type of result arises. It doesn't require any illogical omnipotent creator being.

Take for example: You wake up in the morning in a foul mood, you stub your toe and it hurts, then you cut yourself shaving, the cat scratches your leg on the way back to the bedroom to dress and your kids are screaming for attention... you go to work in a foul mood, and you COULD remain in that same foul mood all day since everything at work seems to be going bad for you too... but then there's this delivery gal who looks nice in her uniform, has a bright smile and can crack a good joke... she's never delivered to your office before and it's a package that's normally not ever ordered until NOW... suddenly things change, she makes you happy...

I'm sure that, if you want, you're going to claim the illogical creator being thing again, but I see it only as a shift in either changing your mind that you're not going to pout in a sour mood or something makes you happy that was different from all the other circumstances you've been used to up to that point.

If it works for YOU then stick with your omnipotent creator being, but logic makes far more sense to me.

One man in these posts called it the "fact" of evolution .It is a theory and in fact does not even have enough evidence to be called a theory . The Bible is true ,plain and simple...Repent or be judged by an angry God.

Gee, the tooth fairy guided our development. No wait, it was santa clause. On second thought, the easter bunny created us all.

Whenever you think "god", think "Tooth Fairy" and you'll see how ridiculous the belief in god is.

To answer your question, the theory of evolution explains how it happened, the fact of evolution shows it did happen.
