Time in the fridge for venison is about the same as beef. If you have been keeping it in the fridge it will probably only last a week or less, depending on whether or not it has been opened. Even unopened, it will go bad after a week or so.
We process our own so it is easier to know how long it will last. If you processed it yourself, it might last longer because you know when exactly it was killed, processed, wrapped, refrigerated, etc. Oh, and if it is already questionable(smell, color, etc. ) throw it out.
Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

I hunt deer and I make both venison salami and fresh sausage. Salami is cured and will keep in a fridge for up to two weeks due to the amount of salt and chemical cure in it. Fresh sausage (uncooked would not keep very long at all in a fridge, maybe 4-5days about as much as any raw, uncured meat. I smoke my sausage and then freeze it as well as the salami. If you use a"Seal-a-Meal" they will keep in a freezer for 2-3 years. Cleanliness in processing is very important. It is hard to find a leaner meat than venison. I don't kill for thrill but for meat. I I do all the steps from woods to the table myself.

A few days at most. In the future, if you don't plan on eating it in the next couple of days, you're better off freezing it, since it can last up to a year or longer.

Honey, As long as you keep it frozen it will stay, but not freeze burn. I just recommend that you do not leave it in the refrigator long, but the freezer.
