I just heard of her from here recently. After seeing her website, and her much older husband it made me wonder.

That marriage made her rich, did it not.

Thanks Father K! I can take your word and I am glad that he had a devoted wife. We all wish for someone to love us for us.

I knew Doc Scott. My wife is an equestrian and a friend of hers who trains horses was Doc's full-time trainer.

I live in Pasadena, Doc and Melissa lived on horse property near here in La Canada.

They are (Doc was) strange folks. They were truly in love, though. Birds of a feather. She was totally devoted to him.

She's making a mess of things now, though.

A good friend of my husband is related to Doc. He and his family are faithful followers of his ministry. I personally never cared for him because I remember the days when he'd spend his whole program sitting with his back to the camera smoking a pipe and refusing to say a word until donation totals he demanded were met. Or he'd play horse videos on his program. In more recent years I never saw him do that. I've watched Melissa a few times since Doc died. Both of them seem to be extremely educated in the word, but I just never could quite figure them out. Glad to hear Father K's answer though, that she did really love him.

Let's face fact and reality---most women marry for financial security. The handsomest man on earth hasn't a chance of securing a beautiful wife if he is dead broke. The ugliest man on earth that is filthy, stinking rich has beautiful woman killing each other to get at him.

It's called the "Hilary Clinton strategy". It has worked pretty well for her.

"Marry someone that has a lot of political (or religious) heat and ride their coat tails until the wheels fall off."
