I can imagine that now I'm the Mary to "It's a Wonderful Life"'s George after he killed himself - and of course there's no such thing as Clarence so I'm stuck in the "alter universe" that Clarence took George too briefly - but it's the real reality.

If soulmates exist, I wouldn't want to be incarnated with them. The strong attraction and revulsion (they would be too much like me) would consume all of my time in this incarnation. I feel that my purpose here is to learn and grow. Although being incarnated with a soulmate would be sort of nice, it would detract from my real goals. What if I need to grow and evolve to a certain point to be united with a soulmate? Wouldn't it be better to do that apart (and quicker)? Do you feel that your soulmate is exactly like you or are they your complete (and complimentary) opposite? Either way, it would be quite distracting.

What's a "soul mate"? The idea that you are incomplete until you find your missing half derives from Plato and it is total B.S.

If you are not complete as you are then you will not be complete with another person either.

Other people do not exist to make up for your own personal deficiencies.

Could be...But, there are a ton of people out there so I'm pretty sure you can find someone to make you happy.

I don't know what you're referring to, but if your soulmate has died, I'm so sorry. I don't think I'd survive losing my soulmate.
