Why is the US government not going after the companies (banking institution or other) and states (voting to give illegals drivers licenses privileges that legal Americans enjoy) that say it is ok to be here illegally--we will help you. Gee, it seems to me that this is telling the legal Americans breaking the law is ok. If this is the case, we don't need the constituion anymore--it is NO GOOD! WORTHLESS! I bet the founding fathers of our great land are rolling over in their graves at the thumbing of their noses and our government doing nothing!!!!!

They should be doing something. I wish they would do something. The Constitution is not a wash... other than the citizenship clause that is leading to all of the anchor babies. It should probably be redefined a little. Don't give up yet - if we citizens keep speaking up and putting pressure on our congressmen/women, maybe we'll get somewhere. But, it'll take all of us making a concerted effort. Believe me, the next time I head to the polls, the illegal alien issue will be one of my main concerns, and will determine who I vote for.

The money of the big interest is running big in Washington and US public servants are getting some of it. This is something that we as Americans, middle class can not permit or tolerate. The majority of the Congress that are pro illegals are doing it because of the money and not because it is humane or anything else. They are selling their soul and going against the rights of the American people. So we have to keep alert and watchful. They are in both parties but more in the Democratic party. The Democratic party is doing everything to win in the 2008 election if it take selling the country to the government of Mexico. Now the US Government is going to permit Mexican truckers to drive in our roads and they are not worrying about the illegal drugs and illegal aliens that are going to come through this new way. There are no controls and no security for this new ideas of this so called US government. Wake up America, something is wrong and the government is part of it.

The founding fathers of our land fought for freedom! So why is it that now we have to still fight for that, no matter how people come here in the first place. Land is not claimable, if it dont want you on it , it will destroy itself, that is how mother nature works. So how is it that we have the right to tell people they can not come here because of a stupid piece of paper that says it is OK. And you are right, they would be rolling over in their graves, for the simple reason that all the fighting they did, has gone down the drain because of all the judgmental people we have who feel they can controll everything that goes on, even though it ain't right.

The governments not doing anything because there is too much money involved! Too many busineses profit from illegal immigration. I think that the government feels that a good trade-off is to allow illegals to overcrowd our schools, get "free" healthcare, and not pay taxes for their cheap labor.

For Ray IV: How doesnt the US support Mexico; they are one of our biggest trading partners! Why should we make it easier for the people of Mexico to come here? Why not the people in South Africa? Or China? Or Afghanistan? Iran? How about North Korea?

Stop with that racist nonsense! Just because these are your people, dont discrimate against everyone else. I would like to see more South Africans be able to migrate here legally, but I cant control that; yet, you dont hear me saying what you say. The US allows more legal immigration than all of the countries in the world combined! How many more people we need?

Simple, because we live in a world of love and hate. We ought to find a way to tear down all the fences, and gates and divisions that makes this world a world of division. One world government for all, but it is just a dream for those who love, but a nightmare for all those who think just because people come into this country illegally are so so illegal. Bubbuh, I'll tell you who's illegal, President Bush, and he is an alien from outer space and he is doing all the right things in screwing this world up and all the wrong things about making it a better world, so let's quit dwelling on nonsense and get this bush out of office before he does what he does best..........

Because it is in the best interests of the American government and the big corporations it brown-noses to keep illegals coming into the country so that they can further depress wages, raise taxes and make life even harder for the average American. The government is a greedy traitor to this country that doesn´t give a crap about "We the People" and is selling out democracy and everything America stands for. Our forefathers are indeed rolling in their graves and I bet a tear is coming out of Washington´s eye at Mount Rushmore.

What are they going to do?? Punish them for having the liberty to voice out their opinions?? If that happens THEN we don't need a constitution. And if you want to talk history, well I wouldn't if I were you because all of this land of supposed freedom, justice, and opportunities is founded on the blood of the natives (and I'm not talking only about Native Americans). Yeah, this country is free but it should be more specific on the people it is free to. The real people in need are just getting sent back without ever even having the chance to smell the 'advantages' this country has.

Because the American government and a few elite have gotten a bit too big for their britches. They are looking "globally" instead of taking care of what they were put in office to do....look out for us.

I do beleive our Founding Fathers are rolling in their grave as to how things are going. Considering where they were and how the world was at their time.....I think they did a grand job of trying to figure out things before they wrote the constitution.

I want to know why that college professor is still working in Texas when he made terrioristic threats as well as threats of genocide yet they have the FBI at door of a kid who put something bad about Bush on her my-space account. I want to know why they'll let a drug runner get off as long as he has less than 500 lbs of pot but will ruin a kids life for a roach. I want to know why they lock-up border patrol agents for 12 years for shooting a drug runner in the butt and a rapist or murderer gets 6 years or less if they're illegal. I want to know we have citizens who are paying the ultimate price for committing crimes while a blind eye and excuses are given to illegals. Ya there's alot of unanswered questions......

If I remember right Bush's son married an illegal, so he is not exactly neutral on the subject. I can hardly wait for him to get out of office. Things have really gone down hill since he took office.

"Follow the money" In this case follow the campaign money. Traitors have no loyalty and therefore they are for sale to the highest bidder. What they don't understand is that someone can always outbid you and those who have no morals and ethics simply use MAFIA tactics to rid themselves of those who are no longer useful to them.

We, the people, of the United States have all the power to change this if we will only use it. We can get rid of everyone in government if we united and wanted to. So, why don't we all do our duties as law-abiding citizens and start posse comatatus and start deputizing citizens and making citizens' arrests? We have the power and if at least 20 million of us unite to use that power, the impotent government will either wake up and do its job or end up in jail without income.
