If you are in a Poker Game? Do you tell the others what you hand is? No! You keep your hand close to your chest. And try to see what others have. We shouldn't even be talking about pulling out, until this thing is Won! Peace, through Strength. The UN will get some soccer referees. We'll set a time limit. Whoever is winning at the end of the time limit is declared the winner. After the buzzer sounds, if anybody shoots again or blows themselves up, the UN will give them a red card. If they continue, the UN will give them two red cards.
Well, either that, or we don't use the timer thingy and we just fight until one side actually wins.

it is impossible to leave now. the U.S. military will be a presence in the middle east for the next several generations.
our duty now is to heavily fortify one area at a time to give it a chance to rebuild and stabilize, that is, from what i understand, what the iraqi leaders are asking for.
so we can't leave, but we can't attack either. we must defend those iraqi peolpe who want to pull some kind of civilization back together.

i think they should finish whatever has been planned in this troop surge, as a last effort to provide as much stability as possible, and leave. if the iraqis can't pull their weight after this, we can't do it for them.
