I cannot play any disney dvd in my pc, but all other dvds work. Why is this?? Any ideas?

it may be due to DRM that locks it to a physical DVD player. some DRM technologies do this to keep you from copying it.

The DVD that you are trying to play on your computer might have copy protected or may contain copy control
technology, check the labelling to see if this is the case,
I know some music CD-ROM disk's have this encoded in to the CD to stop piracy, if you do see something like this then you will only be able to play the DVD on a standerd DVD player and not though the computer. good luck

The reason could be the region. For DVD countries are divided in to regions.

On DVD case there should region specified. or you can download a utility which is called Region free then your pc will play all kind of dvd.

Some DVDs are not compatible with some media players do you have an alternative player?

Probably the wrong region for your player - you might be able to downlaod a patch. Google your player and see what the specifications say
