Both person staying in one room, should pay the amount of $1399...if you want to have single room, you will pay more than what you are paying for double occupancy because you are sharing in one room..

Double/twin occupance refers to 2 people in a room.

Each person pays $1399. But each person is only paying for half the price of a room.

If you have a room by yourself the price will go up.

It says 1399 per person for a room with a double bed or two twin beds. Make sure you think about taxes and such.

Each person had to pay that amount for hotel room. If you want a single, the rate would be more (but probably not double). What did the package include? If airfare from the US and hotel are included, it seems fairly reasonable. Good hotels in HK are expensive.
