Let's try 2 make a long story short...
Jesus was executed on a cross/torture stake (translated from greek Stauros / latin crux; both of which symbolize an upright pole with no indication of a crosspiece)
The first images of crosses as we know them today date back to before Christ. They were representative images of the male reproductive organ (phallus/penis) and symbolized fertility in worship. This cross is another one of the many things that the Catholic Church kidnapped and renamed in an effort 2 gain more pagan converts and stretch its domain (plz 4give my brash delivery)
That being the case, we see that the cross in no way truly represents Jesus.
In addition to that, God commanded his followers not 2 use any kind of carved / graven images in their worship.
Not 2 mention that it's really kind of insensitive. If 1 of your loved 1s was executed on false charges of a federal crime because local religious leaders despised him, would you wear or somehow exonerate the means of their death? Would you wear a mini-electric chair around your neck, or decorate your church with images of a needle?

The cross was the place where Jesus was nailed to death and served as a capital punishment given to him by the Jews including a two sinners which is on his left and right, who were also nailed to a cross for punishment. It is false making a sign of a cross before prayers to God,yet some catholic people make a sign of the cross when passing a church and when their is lightning or. thunder, catholic members will make a sign of the cross.
According to the Catholic encyclopedia, the signing of the cross is to drive away sprit or bad events to be done so that it means that in making a sign of the cross when passing through a church is driving out of satan inside the church, so it means to say that satan is inside the catholic church.
Why do you always make the sign of the cross before you recite your prayers, since the sign of the c ross was the capital punishment made to christ and there it means to say that you are worshipping how Jesus was punished and keeping as your remembrance.. It is considered a demonic symbol because those non believers of Jesus were the one killed him on the cross who were under the temptation of the devil to kill Jesus. and who are demons or satan, they are against God. that is the way the demons did to Jesus,
It has nothing to do with the righteous holy spirit because the death of Jesus on the cross was the work of satan.

I wouldn't say it is demonic or anything.. I too have struggled with the idea as well... we are not supposed to worship symbols or anything but what do we have in the front of our churches? a big marble cross. it is still a symbol.. however you want to put it. Christians argue that it helps to remind them of the huge sacrifice Christ made for our sins, and to never forget that the cost of sin is death (on a cross, I gather).
As far as being demonic... I think that depends on the circumstances in which it is used. a regular cross in a church is not supposed to be demonic at all.. however an upside down cross, is very often viewed as demonic, because it is the exact opposite of the first cross.

What we are talking about here is a depiction of murder. This person was someones son, brother, possible father and maybe lover.
I sure as heck do not see anything remotely good about seeing a rotting, bleeding, dead corps nailed to a piece of wood, and those that use this image as a means of wonderment are just plain sick!
All a cross represent is a murder devise. How would you feel if people prayed to a gun, a knife, an electric chair or a noose?

Some over religious people feel this way. It really doesnt matter, as long as it causes you to remember the price that was paid for your sins, and not worship the symbol itself. The death on the cross/tree was a horrific event. Too bad we dont have some sort of symbol to remind us of His resurection, since that is what it is really about. Without the resurection, he'd be just another prophet.

The cross, while the tool of Jesus Christ's death, is also a reminder of the sacrifice He made in order to redeem us of our sins. The cross itself was a method of putting someone to death, like the electric chair. However, as I mentioned, Christians revere the cross as a reminder of what Jesus Christ did for us.

First, Jesus died on a torture stake or wooden beam, not a cross.
Second, God warns us and commands us not to worship or give reverrance to false idols.
Long before the Christian era, crosses were used by the ancient Babylonians as symbols in their worship of the fertility god Tammuz. The use of the cross spread into Egypt, India, Syria, and China. Then, centuries later, the Israelites adulterated their worship of Jehovah with acts of veneration to the false god Tammuz. The Bible refers to this form of worship as a ‘detestable thing.’—Ezekiel 8:13, 14.
As recorded at Acts 5:30, the apostle Peter used the word xy′lon, meaning “tree,” as a synonym for stau·ros′, denoting, not a two-beamed cross, but an ordinary piece of upright timber or tree. It was not until about 300 years after Jesus’ death that some professed Christians promoted the idea that Jesus was put to death on a two-beamed cross. However, this view was based on tradition and a misuse of the Greek word stau·ros′. It is noteworthy that some ancient drawings depicting Roman executions feature a single wooden pole or tree.

I have never heard making the sign of the Cross on yourself as being "demonic."
****************************
J.P-
The Protestants did not take Jesus off the cross. Joseph of Arimathea took Jesus's body off the cross and buried Him in accordance with the Law (Deuteronomy 21:22-23)
"If a man guilty of a capital offense is put to death and his body is hung on a tree, you must not leave his body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury him that same day, because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not desecrate the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance."
I find it funny that you feel the need to put Him back on the Cross! Haven't you heard, He has been buried and is now resurrected?
(John 20:27)
"Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe."
But really, The Cross has significant meaning to all Christians.
(Philippians 3:18)
For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
(Galatians 6:14)
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
(1 Corinthians 1:17)
For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

The cross is used as a reminder of what Jesus did for us. When we look to the cross we are reminded that Jesus suffered and died for our sins and should remind us to repent of those sins. Therefore the cross is a good thing.
