Shes a girl i'm interested in. I see her everyday day on the same bus. we alight at the same stop too. she then heads to the subway which i happen to be heading there too. she seems to be the quiet kind of girl, any ideas on how to approach her to know her more and get her number? any help is appreciated.

does she sit in the same spot or general area every time? if so start sitting closer and see if she notices you. if she gives you the eye walk up to her and talk to her a couple times before you ask for her number. (asking a girl you dont know for her number on the bus could be creepy to her) get to know her and get her to trust you a little before you make your move. offer to walk her to her location or something like that after you have talked a little bit.

Ask her if she wants to go to a movie with you on Friday night (or something else as long as it's something that will be hanging out together), and ask for her phone number that way, or just ask for her number outright. Or just start a conversation with her and get to know each other.

What do you want her number for, when you can talk to her right there and then.
If she's there every day, smile to her when you see her.
Then start saying Hi! to her.
If she responds enthusiastically, then you're on to a winner.
She may be caught on the hop the first time, but If she repeatedly ignores you you know you're on a loser.
Take it from there.

drop your handphone near by.seat your self beside her.ask if you can borrow her phone to call your phone to check where is it.(she should allow since you would be a familiar face).you would have her number in your phone already. tell her that evening by sms that you are are very grateful for her help.then start smsing her and chat about otherthings .slowly then ask her out for a date!if you like her.

Well first complement her..
Then just start a average kind of conversation..So you two get to know each other..
Then whenever you go or she goes say..
"So wanna go for a coffee!!" Or something..
Then say "Whats your number"...

How long is the bus ride? Sit next to her/near her and introduce yourself and strike up a conversation. Then tell her you'd like to talk to her more.

go sit next to her and start a chat. ask her about work, school what class, etc. this is all about social skill and your personnal and phyical appeal. read her body languge and if she is interest ask her phone number or email.
