Have you ever prayed for atheists/pagens/muslims here on Yahoo answers. Do you think we should all the time?

Hi Jeanmarie,
We absolutely should and do. If we are not praying and caring for others then we are not following the teachings of Christ at all. HE was all about giving and assisting others. HE ate with sinners and argued for lost souls in HIS TIME. The Jewish Leaders did not know what to do to combat HIS Popularity. Have a great weekend.

YES! They think they are going to convince us there is no God or that thier God is the right God, but it has the complete opposite effect on me! I pray more, I'm more faithful than ever! They show me that there is so much and so many to pray for out there, it has really opened my eyes to the needs of people, and the state our nation/world is in. Jesus would pray for them, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do..."

Yes, I do pray for them...but mostly I pray for ME, that I'll have the wisdom, love and patience to answer their questions. I also pray for discernment, so I can answer the sincere questions more effectively.
We can't change their hearts. Only God can do that.

I believe that everybody should pray for the highest good of everybody - all the time. I'm not a Christian - but I answered your question anyway - 'cause there is only one God.

Don't ever give up believing for peoples salvation.
I worked with a guy who used to just listen to me talk "Jesus", I would tell him what I was learning from the Lord. Life had treated him so bad that he carried a big stick around (we worked outside) waiting for some one to give him some xxxx so he could kill'em!
He quit the job, a lost, angry man with a vengence. He came back 3 years later, SAVED, Filled with the Holy Ghost and working in a church.
Never will forget that lesson!
I was waiting to see his picture in the paper for murder. Now I will see him in Heaven for a long, long time!
Don't ever give up Believing for people, we are all they got!

Yes, we should. I just read a posting by somebody named "Deke" who says they were an atheist, but now they are Christian.

yeah, a lot of em are good people anyway. so why not? praying is like wishing em well and that won't hurt em either.
