How can you make a remote control? I want to make one on a circuit board for to make robotics and remote control cars.

Look for ads in Nuts and Volts magazine. Lots of surplus stuff that would be easier to buy than make. Check out the index of RC magazines. Sometimes there are do-it-yourself articles for the purists, people who would rather roll their own (so to speak).

Hi First decide if the signal will be infrared, RF, audio, etc. For a simple on/off control (or right/left or up/down etc.) you need a detector that is sensitive to your signal. IR would be the simplest. http://www.reconnsworld.com/ir_ultrasonic_basicirdetectemit.html
