I am willing to throw away my atheism belief. The day that all Christians stop committing crime, I will believe in God.
Christians, start to straighten up your people, I am giving you a chance. Stick to your ten commandments (or maybe there's more than ten by now, a little bit of sarcasm, not meaning to harm), sort out those false believers of your God, and remember it's either all Christians are good or no deal. Don't make me wait forever.

I am a law abiding person and my moral is good. My bad judgement according to Christian is that I don't beleive in your god so god won't save me. Maybe god can help the Christians to accept this deal, can't he?

Our logic tells us god does not exist. If we can sin like Christians can, what difference if we believe in god or not. We have all you have plus the one logic you lack. And I mean crimes that everyone including Christians should not commit.

Sharon M,

It is up to you Christians to sort them out, I didn't say the condition of all people stop commiting crime. That will be an even bigger miracle to ask for.

You have not understood my statement. I don't want to join Christians if not all Christians are good. I am not saying only Christians commit crimes. If the other religions are included, won't it be more difficult for the Christians?

No, you ask your all powerful god to help you. Of course I am asking for the miracle cause I am not a simple sheep. One who is most difficult to convert will be the most loyal.

So let me get this straight: When Christians cease being human, and become as perfect as God, then you'll believe?
That's NEVER going to happen! We ALL fall short, no matter who we are, or what we believe.
I know there's a lot of hypocrisy in Christianity. I've been a hypocrite, in many ways, but I'm trying not to be. That's really all I can do.
We Christians DO need to start holding each other accountable. I'm not talking about the different interpretations of the Bible, I'm talking about our ACTIONS reflecting Jesus Christ. If one of our Christian brothers or sisters is NOT reflecting Christ, we need to correct them in love.
Hear this, Christians? The atheists are screaming the same thing! We need to stop being hypocrites, and start reaching out in love! Myself included!
By the way, YOU and others like you are the reason I posted my last question. I'm challenging myself, and I'm challenging all my Christian brothers and sisters to truly walk the walk, instead of just talking about it.

You'll be waiting forever. Christains will never quit committing crimes. I guess the ones that do think that Jesus died for their sins so they can do as many sins as they want and still go to heaven. But there will be a trial and God will know their hearts. Some will be forgiven if they are truly sorry but a lot will not.
I'm a Christain but do not consider Christains to be my people. There are too many bad apples among them.
Most Christains do not keep the sabboth holy either. That has changed just in the last few decades. So I don't think Christains have more than 10 commandments, I think it's dwendeling down to more like 4 or 5 for a lot of them.
Do whatever is in your heart. If you are a good person I'd rather have you for a friend than someone that takes advantage of Jesus. If you want proof God exist you should make another deal. God is a one on one relationship and has nothing to do with a group of people.

Why did you direct this question to Christians? What about Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and the like? All crimes are not committed by Christians only.
Do you have something personal against a single Christian that makes you hate the rest of us? I see that you noticed a problem within a religion ~ which gives you the chance to make a difference. I never accept the excuse that you follow a pattern. If you see a negative pattern you have the power to change it. No matter how small the change you can make a difference.

Many years ago, a colorful evangelist of another generation said that sitting in a church didn't make you a Christian—any more than sitting in a garage made you an automobile! There is a lot of truth in that.
You see, it's accepted or even popular in some places to go to church. But what often happens is that a person only goes through the motions, and never allows God to touch his or her heart. And when that happens, God isn't touching their lives either, and they go on living as if He didn't exist. The Bible warns, "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead" (James 2:26). In other words, being a Christian outwardly doesn't necessarily mean a person is a Christian inwardly, and has committed his or her life fully to Christ.
Never forget: Our faith is to be in Christ and what He has done for us, not in other people. People are imperfect and will fail us; Christ never will. Only God knows the hearts of those you see around you—but what about you? Is your faith in Him? Don't let the bad example of some keep you from Christ.

And where can you read in the Bible that christians like St. Stephen, Timothy, Titus etc., in their christian practices did commit crimes? Though Saul (Paul) once was a persecutor of the church of God, but when he converted, there was no record whatsoever in the Bible that he again did what he did when he was in the jewish religion of his time.
Is it very difficult to a child to utter " I am a teacher (though he is a pupil)"?

Wow, you do not understand the bible and the concept of sin. Just because someone accepts Christ as their savior doesn't mean they cease to sin. No one other than Jesus walked the earth and did not sin. Even Mary, Jesus earthly mother was a sinner. Mother Teresa is a sinner, Billy Graham is a sinner, the pope is a sinner. No one can 100% follow the Law, that is why Jesus gave his life. If you sin, sin has to be punished. To sin is to be separate from God. In death separation from God is Hell. Not because God is mean, but because he is Just. So since a sinner can't pay the price for a sinner, someone sinless had to. Jesus took the eternal punishment of sin so we wouldn't have to. As a Christian, we still suffer for the sin we do, however because of that price paid by Christ, we don't have to spend eternity apart from God. So no one can stop sinning all of the time. But someone who has TRULY given their life to Christ develops a desire to please God, because they understand the price that was paid. You can't please God with things or empty words or empty promises. You can please God through obedience and striving to live a life that he calls us to live. Yet it's not whether we succeed, but that we try, that is pleasing to God.
One last thing, don't judge Christians by the people who say they are and still choose to hate and judge and gossip. Try meeting some Christians that are truly trying to live their faith.
It seems like you are Judging all Christians based on some loud people claiming to be Christians, just like people judge all Muslims based on what some extremist do.
Atheism isn't a belief, it's a lack of belief. By holding on to that lack of belief you will only hurt yourself.
Want to know the sign of a true Christian, they love, regardless of anything else. Because the whole bible and Christian belief can be summed up in the scripture that says "Love your God with all your heart and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself" That paraphrased. But anyone that comes in contact with you is your neighbor.
You want Christians to stick to the 10 commandments, do you? Could you stick to them all 100% if you wanted to?

I was in federal prison for 30 months. I met crack dealers, killers, bank robbers, (like me) lotsa bad people. I think I was the only atheist in the joint. 99% of the scum in prison are Christian. Then the black ones turn muslim, but its all the same. Commit crime.., pray to god....all is good...until the next time haha

Belief is personal between you and God. Remember that all people who call themselves Christian are not. Some people think that just because they went to church as a child that makes them Christian.
We know we have a lot of work to do. We're human. But we are also forgiven. And we have the Holy Spirit to help us. Without God, you got nothing. If you wait forever, it's not our fault but your own.

If you mean, "the day that all Christians stop committing sin," then that is impossible. All of us sin, whether (truly) Christian or not. The only person ever to have walked the earth without sinning was Jesus. Case. Closed. We cannot accept a challenge we cannot fulfill.
Perhaps we Christians will convert atheism if you can guarantee the same. Can you?

So your the one I aim to please now, wow I guess that I was a little mixed up. Who are you? Your question is aimed at anger, from reading your question it seams as if you will never receive the answer that would convert you. It seams as if you are looking for a response for an angry conversation. Those who want to find will find. If you are stiff necked to the point that you don't wish anything other than what you see now and do not wish to discover greater golds, then you will never find them.
