I am looking for stories about children in the Bible. Like Miriam and Joseph, who were doing great things even as children. I was wondering what stories you remember that I could teach to children about Biblical children. I'd like to steer away from the famous stories if I can, and find stories they may not have heard of before, but famour stories are also welcome. Thanks for any help you can give me, and if you can give me Bible references with the stories as well, that's be awesome. :)

There's the story of Samuel. How his mother prayed and prayed for a child and promised to give him back. So God gave her Samuel and he became a great prophet.
Or the story of Elijah. As a child he was the student of a Rabbi and God spoke to him directly. He, also, became a great prophet.
Finally, there is the story of the servant girl. Her master got leprosy and she convinced him to go and see Elijah.

I know you said you are looking for some that wasn't famous but I love the story of David.
This kid killed Lions!! Imagine that! But he was left home when his brothers went to war! Then he couldn't believe it when his people didn't stand up for God when Goliath was using profanity against him! He thought, 'why are you taking this cr*p from this jerk?' then he said, 'if you babies won't do anything about it I WILL!' Then he did. And after Goliath laughed at him and called him a dog he bopped him upside his head and killed him. This guy was so humble, so wonderful, God said his heart was like God's! Now that says something!

Exodus chapter 12 is a great one, and it shows God in all his power and glory. The children of Egypt were shown what a merciful God he really is in 12:29.

Here is my favorite story about children in the Bible.
Peace and love brother...
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him. "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!" The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore forty two of the children to pieces. (2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)

Jack. He was famous. He slew the giant at the top of the beanstalk.
Either him or that David fellow who slew Goliath.
The beanstalk story is better though.
