Why are guys surprised when they get cheated on?

I find it odd that alot of guys (speaking of 16-20ish) tell stories of how easy their girlfriends are, but become infuriated when they do it with someone else.

A kid I know told everyone they did it in his car after work, and he was with her and her friend at the same time. A month later he hated her because she decided to sleep with his friends.

Shouldn't they see this coming?

guys often think they are the center of a womans world....so it's shocking when they find out they are not.
