Have you just came out from a Jumgle after all these years? Muslims all over the world condemned the genocide. The Muslim countries cannot unilaterally go and attack Bosnia just like what the USA and the British did to Iraq. That will cause reprisals from Christian countries as Bosnia is predominantly Christians.Muslims were thankful that it ended albeit the UN took a long time to make the decision to attack Bosnia and end the genocide.
Maybe the lack of gratitude was due to the UN delaying their action which cause the death of hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Bosnia.

As mentioned above, the Muslim world, in all it's diversity, joined western nations in condemning the slaughter in Bosnia. But the Muslim world has no armies that can intervene in a war on the other side of the world at the turn of a dime, like NATO and the US have. But tens of thousands of volunteers from all over the Muslim world left for Bosnia to fight the Serbians.
But, as in many things, religious fundamentalism reared it's ugly head on the Muslim side too, and followers of Wahabism, the puritan Saudi version of Islam, tried with Saudi oil money to monopolize the fight. Suddenly the Bosnian muslims, quite moderate Sunni muslims, found themselves flooded with Wahabist preachers, Wahabist mosques, Wahabist litterature and Wahabist "jihadis" with quite different priorities than the Bosnian people. And like in Afghanistan, like in Chechnia, many were convinced to join the worlwide "jihad" against the "Great Satan", the "Zionists" and the "Crusaders". Sad! United, the Muslim world can be a moderate force for good. But the fundamentilist fringe minority pretends to speak for all Muslims. And some in the West believe them.

There is no coherent Muslim world. It is deeply divided. Free speech is almost non-existant. Media are controlled, demonstrations organised by the ones in power.
The only one who could have protested are the ones in power, not the masses.
Their armies are weak, not well equipped, corrupt and demoralized.
If they had protested, they might have been called upon to do something about it.
Sending out the army as an expeditionary force? Unprecedented. That would cause major internal unrest. The muslim world is not comprised of the most stable states in the world. No way they could risk getting involved without endangering their own fragile balance.

What in God's holy name are you talking about?? You clearly know nothing at all about this. Muslim countries were appalled by the slaughter of their co-religionists in Bosnia: so much so, that in 1994 Islamic countries including Iran sent weapons and support to the Bosnian army. Conservatives in the US condemned this, becuase they felt in would turn Bosnia into an Islamic fundamentalist base!!

Perhaps they provided the arms, and the arms.
Who knows? War is a messy business.
I think the greatest loss was the bridge at Mostar.

why does 'the west' always want kudos for something they have done?
why does 'the west' alway stick it's nose in other countries affairs?
why does 'the west' want apologies for things?

They did, it just didn't get any press, and they didn't boast about it.
