LOL!!

funny link....

It takes more courage to stand and face the enemy. It takes more courage to do what needs to be done even if it means it's unpopular.

No it doesn't take more courage to leave. Congress and courage don't belong in the same sentence.

Thinking about it, President Bush is screwed either way really. If we stay and gain stability he won't get the credit. If we leave and a true civil war arises it will have been his fault. They will try and blame the 1million who are estimated to die if we leave on President Bush. If we hadn't have attacked Iraq and Saddam had of attacked us it would have been his fault for not doing enough.
Doing the right thing is seldom popular.

Nope. Pulling out is the easy way to go. Finishing what we caused and staying until Iraq can govern itself safely is the tough road but the long term smart one

Of course not, quitting is easy and it is what those of weak moral fiber do when things get hard.

There is an issue of honor here, we have to finish our committment to this fledgling country, to help them become stable from islamfascism so they can direct their own destiny. Hopefully we have created an ally in this part of the world, and with the insanity in Iran we are going to need one.

Had it been up to me, we would have already been out of there. I like Bush, but he shouldn't have announced such "lofty" goals. Demeocracy of an already communist country? In the words of a well-known scientist/ astronomer: "You can not teach man anything, you can only stir up what's inside of him." I'm not saying these people cannot be taught or stirred up...Bush has taught them and stirred them to fight among themselves. Something not intended, but if the democratic concept cannot be understood because of cultural and language barriers, and the bloomin' conflict, that really wasn't a true war when we went over there, has been gone on for over 5 yrs. now is still going on, what did he think the people there were going to do... give up out of disgust and frustration and "smoke a peace pipe?" Get real.

Absolutely. It is much easier to let "sleeping dogs lie" than to stir the pot. When Richard Nixon pulled us out of Vietnam he was cheered as a hero for doing so. Funny how that political machine just spins around -lol.

It takes more courage to move forward. To finish what we started. We removed their government. Now not only is it our duty but also our obligation to help them to defend themselves from enemies both foreign and domestic.

I am not sure on this one. The problem is if we leave early some will feel like we did not truly win and as Americans our egos don't like that.
