Don't tell me you're already there. We're NEVER "there," wherever "there" is. Have you gone beyond just believing? Is EVERYTHING in your life a reflection of Christ? Your actions, your words, your thoughts, your deeds? Are you reaching out, in your actions and NOT just in your words, to others who need to see the love of God? Are you actively serving God in your church (wherever that might be), in your home, your neighborhood, your town, your workplace? Have you submitted to God's plan for you?
I am challenging myself to ALL of these things. I am proclaiming here and now that I AM ready for the next level. I request you all to hold me accountable, and hold yourselves accountable also. Are you ready?
Read my last blog on my 360, if you want, and PLEASE take this challenge. A link to it is on my profile.

This isn't pride. It's admitting that I'm not perfect. It's holding myself accountable. And please, there's no reason to be rude!

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" - Matthew 25:40
That, I believe, seperates those who are ready from those who are not - what we do for others and, therefore, God. The way we treat one another is the way we treat God.
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" - I John 4:20.
Love which is not accompanied by good works is not true love, but is merely lip service. That is why the Word of God says, "Faith without works is dead" - James 2:20
It is relatively easy to call yourself a Christian, but far more difficult to strive to be Christ-like. I don't feel I ill ever be worthy of that title, but I hope, in the end, I will get credit for effort.

Good challenge. I like it. We can never do too much for God.
I only say this because you asked.
I am a Sunday School Superintendent (I feel I've let everyone down because I have tried to find something for our class for Easter but haven't got anything this year).
I drive the Sunday School bus ( I average about 10 - 15 every Sunday).
I clean the church and cut the grass 2 months a year. (gotta cut the grass today).
I help arrange and lead church services (nervously usually)
I give glory to God for all I do.
God's humble servant. I also have a 360 you can check out if you are just killing time.

last Sunday, we were told that being in a state of grace is not something that you achieve, but rather something that you strive towards your whole life. It is not a GOAL, per se, but rather a standard to live your life by. Only God can tell me if that is something I have achieved throughout my life. Yes, I am active (volunteering for the fish fry tonight) and have opened my life up much more to love since returning to the church. I can't read your blog, as I cannot access 360. And personally, I don't care much to tell people about my faith. It is, and should be , a private thing.

A baby does not feed on milk for the rest of his/her life...One has to learn how to grow up and that includes a christian... Moving on the next level is a must for every christian...nobody would want to be stagnant in life... Just ensure that you do something that's of God's will for you and do not ever go against Him... Yes, God encourages every child of His to serve but bear in mind that if a person is not called to an area of a ministry, he/she would not be gifted to serve within the capacity...so what you do has to go in line with what He wants you to do...otherwise you'd find it difficult to grow in Him...Ask God to show you what areas that He wants you to grow in...only after growing, then you can safely say you've made it to the higher level...and remember that in life God always prepare a place where you can serve Him best because wherever He leads, He provides with sufficient grace...Enter into the promised land is more important than placing yourself anywhere you yourself choose to be in... oh yes, be accountable not to any leadership you want but a leadership which is directed of the Lord...and your gift of discernment plays a very important role here in determining which leadership that He wants you to be accountable to...
Be accountable to God yields great results in life...

If your ready for the next level you should have no trouble seeing your self as an integral part of a perfect and all loving God.
Can something that is part and parcel of perfection really be less than perfect, or do they just think that they are?
love and blessings Don

Time gets in the way of levels. Please be cautioned, is it not better to not make a promise to him at all but better yet yeah, and neah? Live life striving and focusing but not as a commitment with no room for error. You would then beat yourself up with failures. Aim respectively reachable, short goals, some moderate goals and few long term goals for the lord. You would be at a constant striving and wouldn't be discouraged due to your victories in the short. Start small and let him guide you into what he wants. Really, what does he want?

I don't believe its about taking it to the next level, I think it's about living at that level. You don't need to commit yourself for the time being and then say "Oh yeah, i did that" and then go back to your old self. It's not about going to church everyday or whatever. Its about interacting with the world, our brothers and sisters. Helping people throughout our daily lives.
However, volunteering is indeed a great way to help out, but you must not see it as I did that once and i dont need to help out anymore. It's not about doing good, because you want God to see it, it's about doing it good for your own satisfaction and willingness to do so.
One must learn to donate, forgive, and learn to be & have fun with others around us daily!
I've always challenged myself and always tried my best to be great to others. But, one must not let themselves tear apart to totally give oneself up to help another. The Lord sees our life and knows our potentials, and that little giving here and there, something that you can handle, is what he will appreciate.
Everyone has their foot that they may stumble upon...a disagreement here and there, but the important part is forgiveness and not losing our faith.

This is a common thread that many Christians I know are talking about. We are ready for the next level or next thing. Is this the Holy Spirit preparing us for a common experience?
......and Jibba Jabba is back....Dont go talkin like no fool
