Leesa, if you are being serious, you really need to get it checked out by a psychiatrist. They have a great deal of education in these types of things and will be able to tell you if it is normal, or whether something is working incorrectly.
Hearing your inner voice speak to you is normal, it is your brain processing information. But if you start hearing someone else's voice, then something is amiss.
Don't be afraid to see a professional, they can make life allot easier for you.
Also there will be many people who state that they know what is happening, and will attempt to apply their religious belief to your experience. This is always a recipe for disaster. Growing up in church, I have witnessed many unballanced people who get convinced that the voices they are hearing are from God, by well meaning Christians. A few of these people ended up hurting themselves, one of them killed a neighbor, because a well meaning Christian lady told him he was hearing from God, then the voice told him his neighbor was the devil and that he had to kill the devil to save the world. This poor guy was convinced by this time that the voice was Gods, and did his bidding.
Go see a professional, not someone who claims to know what is up, without even knowing your medical history.

Hi
Your conscience will not be a voice that you can hear, it will be a niggling feeling, sense or right and wrong.
If you hear a voice, then you need to go to your doctor. You are not mad no, but you do need to take some medication to control this.
The voice may not be a worry at the moment but it could get worse, it may tell you to hurt yourself or others, it may make you paranoid.
Your doctor is not going to lock you up in a mental hospital so don't worry! Your doctor would only look at sectioning you if you became a danger to yourself or others, this is why you need to control the voice now and not wait until it gets worse.
Please don't be frightened, lots of normal people are in the same boat as you, I have done some counselling work with people in similar situations to yours. It can be easily helped with medication.
Good luck.

You need God, the Great Physician and NOT a psychiatrist or a psychologist...Use your gift of discernment...You may want to discover further on what the voice is telling you to do...
A person who's really into Trinity God (God,Jesus and Holy Spirit) and His teaching on living by the Spirit (in this case, the Holy Spirit), then it's very unlikely that he/she'd be hearing what you heard...Seek God and you shall find the answer....
It could be just your imagination after all...

It's a different part of your conscious. Read the story below:
""Voices in the head 'are normal'
Some who hear voices fear being branded as "crazy"
Hearing voices in your head is so common that it is normal, psychologists believe.

You are not crazy.
The "mental realm" is very complicated.
Your own mind can produce things, they can come from other peoples minds (thoughts can transfer), they can come from the enemy of all Human beings, satan, they can come from GOD.
One guy had a tooth filling, that picked up a radion station! Sure enough!
How would you like that, especially if you couldn't change the channels?

In all seriousness, I suggest you explain this problem to a doctor and urgently seek medication and therapy before this gets out of hand.
If you don't trust your GP, contact a phychiatrist.
Seriously, you should not delay..

You are probably imagining. If that voice starts telling you to do things you don't want to do then go to hospital immediately.

My honest answer is that, if you are truly experiencing this, you should talk to your doctor about it. Please.
It can't hurt to just go for a visit, and he may actually be able to help you. Don't be embarrassed about it, just call for an appointment and go see your doctor.
