Yes. But Ghandi is burning in hell forever and ever.
Of course, sadly, your question will do nothing to pursuade anyone about anything.

If he admitted he was a sinner, believed Jesus Christ (who never sinned) died on the cross to spare Hitler from the penalty of his sin (death) then arose from the grave three days later. If Hitler confessed all this to God through prayer, then yes, he would (or will) be in heaven.
Saul of Tarsus persecuted and killed many followers of Christ. Then God intervened in his life. The Holy Spirit convicted him, he repented, admitted his sin, and his belief in the power of Jesus' death and resurrection. He then set about to become one of the main contributors of the New Testament, and a major instrument of God during the early days of the Christian church. The Apostle Paul was no better than Hitler, before his conversion. Nor was I.

NO! He would have had to be one of God's chosen, part of the 144,000. He would have worked for God's ways, as Jesus did, all his life.
He certainly didn't do that.
You cannot go by the opinion of so called Christians.
However, if in the resurrection ***he repents***, he may get eternal life. That will be a forgiveness of sin.
Hitler belongs to our time. There were others just as bad.
Look at what ***Islam*** is doing all over the world. (According to the news and history)

According to the Christian doctrine, Hitler would be in Heaven anyway.
Your question is really flawed in that it
a) pretends that Hitler was an atheist
b) assumes that the way Hitler acted is antithetical to Christian teaching.
Neither are true. Hitler was a devout Christian, who in his own words was "doing the word of the Lord" by "defending himself against the Jews" (Mein Kampf).
Killing nonbelievers is also specifically ordered by the Bible.
Nice try on the revisionism.

He would probably have to do some time in purgatory, but if he was truly sorry for what he did, the doctrine states he would have that chance (the suicide angle is what puts a bit of a kibosh on that)

Yeah, but it is doubtful that happened. Did he have that last moment of grace before his life was taken? I don't know, I wasn't there and neither were you :)
But I do hope that you understand it would have to be a true repentence and not just words uttered. And while we want justice, we WANT him to suffer because of what he did to millions of people, God's grace supercedes our human sense of justice.
And aren't each of us just a wee little bit glad that His grace doesn't require justice from each of us? If everyone gets justice in the end, then we are all in for a lot of pain! lol

yes, and Saddam and Stalin and Dahmer and anyone else you can. Gods forgiveness is perfect. But our repentence must be like that of Psalm 51:
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will turn back to you.
14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
the God who saves me,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 The sacrifices of God are [c] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.

I guess that depends on whether or not he blasphemed against the Holy Spirit.
Apparently that much worse than slaughtering 6,000,000 people and causing the worst loss of life from war in history.

Oh come on! If i went on the street and kill every person that came in my path and after that i would repent i will be in Heaven? after all the lives i took with cold blood?
