Yes, I think so.
The bible says "I knew you before you were in your mothers womb"
I have a special needs daughter who is very, lets just say, insightful. She told me some things when she was very young like she remembered being born. She described the circumstances and I had never told her. Then she said, "before that mommy I was in heaven with God". Then she talked about how big the Angels were.
I did NOT ask her these things because frankly , it freaked me out!

I think it should mean that; I'm not sure if religious dogma claims that. What I believe is, we didn't exist before we were born, and we won't exist after we're dead. So, if anyone wants to know what it's like after they're dead, just think back to how you felt before you were born. That's impossible, of course, because you had no consciousness then, no brain to understand anything with. This is an incredibly difficult concept, which is why people have religions with stories about what happens after you die. It's easier to believe that than it is to understand non-existence.

Dont want to violate any views but...personally I believe that there is no destination as such after death and before birth....its more like a cycle where you just enter another body....(witin the womb) but at the same time maintaining the same spritual essence....which means your soul is static and does not change...yeah...u call it rebirth in short.

The body and life force/spirit come from our parents.
When we die the spirit leaves and returns to it's owner, God.
The dead wait in the ground for resurrection.

No, not exactly. But the miracle of life is a God given blessing.
And in that way, the answer is yes.
