I been told if a girl or women writes the word love it can mean different. when she writes it Love she is like in to you . where as if she wrote it like luv she is just a friend . is this true . or is there some other reason to explain this.

i've definitely heard about this before. from the people that i've heard it from, you're absolutely right - 'luv' is less personal and serious than 'love'. however, it seems like there are a bunch of people that don't abide by this rule, so i wouldn't think too much about the spelling

Not sure. I do have a friend (who is a girl) who believes it's all about how you say 'Love'. So to some people I guess the difference would be there between 'Love' and 'luv'. To me I see 'luv' as childish and has a lack of substance.

Never heard of this. So not true. It's not a code.
It's just a lazy way of writing luv.

True
just infatuation, puppy love and "in like" until you're past 18 or so,
True love and in love is soo much more and you'll understand all that many years from now...

To me they are both one and the same. The latter is just the modern way of writing it.

I don't think there is any rule to that. It could be wishful thinking.
