Spring Valdez are you saying it was not the original plan, but because people denied Jesus that he died.. did he die to save people of the time from this solitary sin? excuse me for being analytical, but I am very curious.

Yes it was planned by God

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:16-18

During the Old Testement (see above scripture) people lived under the Law, and that was the only way to get to heaven.. but after Jesus came a new era started....

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Yes it was planned by God. Also since it has been a few thousand years he didn't die for my sins, he died for the sins of the people who were then.

Well, if you believe that god is omnipotent and omniscient, then yes, it was all planned. A billion times a trillion years ago, squared, god knew jesus would die. If you believe jesus is equal with god, then jesus knew he would die too. So really, there was not a lot of sacrifice involved since he knew he would be ok in the end.

That is, if you put a lot of undue belief in mythology to begin with.

He died for our sins because he loved us that much!
Yes, this was planned by God.
When Jesus was in a garden before they arrested him, he was very very scared. He was so scared he was sweating blood! He even asked God "IF it is your will take this cup from me" It was God's will for his son to die for the sins of the world.
Thats how much God loves YOU!

The New Testament of the Holy Bible will tell you that Jesus died for our sins in order to redeem us in the eyes of God. Yes, it was planned, so that we may all enter Heaven one day if we believe in Jesus and what he did for us with all our heart.

J-Rod, you've hit the nail on the head with that one. Kudos to you!

he didnt
"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son (the progeny of Adam) shall not bear the iniquity of the father (Adam), neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die." Ezekiel 18:20-21

It was planned by God after He saw that animal sacrifice wouldn't be strong enough to cover our sins as each succeeding generation would get more increasingly evil. Since animals could not WILLINGLY go to their deaths for us, God had to send Himself manifested in flesh as Jesus to die WILLINGLY for our sins as the penultimate expression of love and free will.

Jesus died for our sins, but it wasn't the original course he was to take. His crucifixion was a result of the disbelief and ignorance of the chosen people of Israel. "None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (I Cor 2:8) You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me; yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. (John 5:39-40) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! (Matt. 23:37) and more...

It's all a myth. If he could walk on water, he could have come down from the cross.
