i heard valuev will not fight klitchko senior or junior because they know each other fairly well in real life.Even though he is not agile on his feet a few well placed punches to the chin from valuev would leave anyone dazed

I do not think that other fighters are scared of Valuev because of his size or record. Records can be very deceiving. Valuev has been matched with very beatable opponents who had very little power or boxing skills. He has received several favorable decisions on his home turf that have been very disputable. He is a very limited fighter whose only advantage is his size. Agile he is definitely not.

Wladimir Klitschko has been actively seeking a match with Valuev, among other good fighters. But Don King knows that once Valuev gets in the ring with a good heavyweight he will lose. Luckily for Valuev and King, there are very few good heavyweights, so they can get away with padding his record. I don't think Valuev will fight a top ten heavyweight until he has passed Rocky Marciano's heavyweight record of 49-0. By then Valuev will have enough name recognition, or at least curiosity interest, that King will be able to make a good amount of money matching him with a belt holder.

I'm gonna be a little more generous with the big man than most of the other posters here. Lets look at what hes done-knocked out Paolo Vidoz, 'D' Larry Donald(no, Niki didnt beat him), beat John Ruiz, and KO'd Monte Barrett, one year after Barrett hung tough against Rahman for a full 12. Its not hall of fame stuff, for sure, but its not nothin' either. Now hes gonna fight an undefeated KO artist named Ruslan Chageav. Sure, we'd like to see him fight the likes of Wlad, Vitali, Peter; and if he beats Chageav, then maybe he will.

The blogbaba thinks that at the advanced stage of decline in his physical ability that he currently sports coupled with his extreme old age and carrying a keg around his middle, the blogbaba would KO Valuev inside of three rounds, and I haven't stepped into a ring in years. Valuev is what is wrong with boxing, he is at best a curiosity. He is so bad, they are running out of stiffs to line up for him to knock over. They should match him with Tyson to complete the freak show and completely destroy boxings creditability. Don could regain Tyson's name, (which is all Mike has left, but name alone is enough to defeat Valuev) and bite Mike in the neck one more time for old times sake.

I personally think that the fighters are scared since they all know that Valuev is not gifted in terms of talent. I do, however, think that they are physically intimidated by Valuev's sheer size advantage. I just don't know what to say regarding your comment that Valuev is agile.

I think that he and the other so called champs are scared to fight each other and that the heavyweight division is unexciting and weak. Valuev does not impress me at all. Although he got the win, I believe that Ruiz beat him when they fought. Trust me, nobody is scared of him and he really isn't all that good.

I used to think Primo Carnera was the worst heavyweight champion ever. At least Carnera fought better competition. I'm going to ask a question in reference to this.

He has absolutely NO punching power for his size. The Klitschko boys could leave him a bloody, crumpled mess.

I think they are not scared of him, but the promoters cannot sell a big show with him on the top.
