It is not a sin to eat the "body of Christ" or the "host" that are not blessed.
FYI, the Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration Convent or the "Pink Sisters" in Tagaytay City are selling cookies made from the trimmings of the "host".

Eating a 'body of christ' that is not blessed is not a sin.
This is because the idea of a cracker being the Body of Christ is totally dependent on the mindset of the individual. If one does not view the snack as the Body of Christ, then it isnt the Body of Christ. This is the same with other religions, all are dependent on a belief rather than fact.

I have never heard of anything so weird as eating communion wafers as a snack, but if it hasn't been blessed in the communion ceremony, then I don't think it's really anything but unleavened bread until then. The sanctification of the host is what makes it the body of Christ.
So no, I don't think that qualifies as a sin, just a little weird.

according to the Bible, if you are partaking communion with a flippant attitude, you are pronouncing the Lord's judgment on yourself...

so either you take with the right heart attitude or don't take it at all...

Do you prefer the garlic flavoured ones, or the meat flavoured ones?
Who cares, flat bread crackers are flatbread crackers.
