Funny you should ask...I believe it was past down from Granma Gypo during those long evenings in the caravan by the motorway, I know hedgehog is the main ingredient after that its anyones guess.

Easy Meatloaf
This is a very easy and no fail recipe for meatloaf. It won't take long to make at all, and it's quite good!"
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 cup milk
1 cup dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/3 cup ketchup
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk and bread OR cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 5x9 inch loaf pan, OR form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a separate small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Mix well and pour over the meatloaf.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.

10 pnds of lean hamburger from a fat cow
3 large onions diced and then chopped up
5 large bottles of ketchup or a 1 gallon can
1 sprig of parsley, just throw it in anywhere
15 cloves of garlic
2 cups of virgin olive oil, if you can find a virgin
1 pnd of garlic salt
1 cup of sweet pickles, whole (very important)
Mix ingredients in a 5 gallon Tupperware container, add salt & pepper (not too much)
Mold into shape of cinderblock and bake in oven for 1 hour and 6 minutes at 500deg flip it over and continue baking until fork stands up straight when stuck in middle about 2 inches. Enjoy
