Hi, im helpless in regard to relationship with girls so i need your advice. basically i met this girl yesterday and manage to start conversation with her. after about 30min of talking she had to go so that was it for day1. since i didnt get her number i had to basically wait the whole day today for her on the usual spot where she normally goes to just to see her. she did turn up again and i talked with her only about few minutes and again she had to catch bus home so that was it. when i ask her if she'll be back tomorrow she just says 'maybe'. i wasnt brave enough to ask her for number and also my friends say that i shouldnt ask it until later. i'm really confused: i'm not sure if she's interested in me or i'm just someone who is bothering her. how can i impress her? and also how can i tell if she's interested in me? also, i saw her with another guy who seems to be her homestay friend. but the fact that she was with her bothers me... how do i know if he's just her friend not boyfriend?

Thanks for all the encouragement etc it means a lot to me. based one what you said i want to further ask several things. firstly if she does turn up tomorrow what should i do? just talk and ask for number at the end? secondly, how do i send across the message that i dont just want to be her 'friend' but someone more? lastly, the presence of another guy around her bothers me a lot so am i being paranoid or should i take it as a potential competition?

why not be yourself and care about whats important to her and not worry about impressing anyone. if you are yourself and it works than things are destined to be positive....if it doesnt work, do you really want to be somone your not just to make someone else happy? seems pretty silly to me.

go up to her start a friendly conversation (quickly before the damn bus comes again or you could, always get on the bus too that might impress her, or scare the hell out of her)and calmly ask if she is seeing anyone...no matter what she answers..tell her you would like her number and that you would like to call her sometime, maybe catch a movie or whatever...
...if she gives you her number...wait about 3 days or so then call...ask her what she's up to...and not for that night..ask her what she's doing a day or two from the day you call(dont seem desperate)...work it slow...dont go quickly
if she is to busy or doesnt want to talk to you often..she probably is not interested...if you dont get her number...she is NOT interested at all...
you are only nervous because you like her a lot...so pretend she is just a good friend of yours..so you can be yourself...

First of all, don't do anything out of the ordinary to impress her. Just be yourself...seriously, if you try to be someone you are not, you will never be able to maintain it, and a relationship built on lies, or misconceptions never lasts very long.
If you don't have the nerve to ask her for her phone number, tell her that you enjoyed talking with her, and give her yours to use if she enjoys talking to you. If she calls, then you know that you are not bothering her. If she does have a boyfriend, she will tell you, you won't have to guess.

just keep talking to her, get to know her a little bit more. make her laugh, that always helps. maybe if u keep talking to her by next weekend u will feel comfortable enough to ask her to go do something. but dont give up or u will never know what could have been.

Ask her for her number, simple. Shows you've got guts (well, kinda...) and will show you if she is interested.
If she likes you, she should. Blush, smile etc and gleefully give you her number.
If she doesn't she'll try and avoid giving it to you, so don't press for it.
