Wow, this's a tough one. Well, it would depends on where you stand in the controversy against it. On one side, you may think that we are made from God himself. But on the other hand, you may think that we evolved from the 'neanderthals' themselves, our so-called primative ancestors which lived through the prehistoric ages. Regardless of how our existence came about, it all boils down to your own faith and belief.

It is said that humans created god, but could not create themselves. Which is a long way of saying that humans are not a self made entity.

Humans are creatures as are worms but I think your question is really one that asks if we have created a 'heaven' or 'hell' and religions. Did we do that and the answer is yes....because we are so egocentric to believe that our short life span will be followed by something more.

No he is a product of evolution of millions & trillions of years.
Tracing to the origin, first living organisms were made from gases like methane, ammonia etc under high temperature & pressure; so man must be made from atoms!
