I Have the same problem. What I do isn't the healthiest thing to do but it works. I keep myself awake as long as I can then Ill stay awake a little longer so I fall asleep in the evening (9ish) Normally I crash for the whole night.

I have this problem also. I tried Tylenol pm and quit drinking caffeine after 6pm. Some of my problem is I have to go potty but If I go right back to bed and take deep slow breaths I usually fall back to sleep.
Are you getting enough exercise during the day?
Is there other issues during the day that could be triggering this? i.e. pain, stress, the start of menopause?

Maybe you're a light sleeper and wake easily. Remember to sleep in the right condition. Hot, get on with the air-con. Get a soft bed, not the hard wooden thingy. You might be having the condition, i don't know what it's called, referring to loss of sleep. Do not have coffee before you sleep and maybe you need food. Sleeping pills, one before you sleep.

I would suggest Melatonin! You can get it at a health food store (vitamins).
Do you exercise? Some times some daily exercise will help you body follow it's natural path.
Are you stressed? See a doctor!
Good luck! That sucks! (I know)

i try to go to bed at 10pm but...tonight I am awake only becaz i took a nap in the daytime...
suggest taking a light jog in the cold weather then racing inside to the warm room...sometimes different temp's help the body sleep easier...
like hyperthermina - in extreme cold weather the body starts to shut down and u become sleepy.....
try it...

Try Benadryl. It helps me get back on track and I am not drowsy the next day. Not habit-forming either.
