after all, they're going to burn in hell anyway, why not spare yourselves the imposition of having to remind them of that fact for any longer than is absolutely necessary?

No sane person would ever encourage a gay person to commit suicide. Don't forget that the world is filled with hate and mean people and anything they say or do is as insignificant as their God.

No.

Firstly, suicide is wrong, and presumes that God does not forgive or have compassion.

Second, you don't know that the person is going to "burn in hell". God's forgiveness and redemption extend to all of us. That fellow that you dislike and that has repeatedly done you wrong? It's wrong to wish him/her death or hell, because who knows, when this is all over and done, that person may actually be standing right next to you in heaven. That's why we as Christians are not supposed to judge others lest we be judged harshly by God. God's forgiveness and redemption extend to *everyone* even the worst sinners among us. "Hate the sin, love the sinner".

Sometimes I wish more people on here would learn more about *real* Christianity, and Christian theology, and not fall prey to the secular, anti-Christian propaganda out there that misrepresents Christianity.

i am a Christian and NO i would never encourge anyone and i mean anyone to commit suicide.

i was very close to killing myself last week. i know the pain a person is in when they think of killing themselfs. just because a few Christians think they have a right to judge anyone. that does NOT mean ALL Christians are like that. if u need to talk u can email me ok.

No, I would not. First off, that is not my place to encourage any one to do anything like that. Redemption is always possible, so the chance that you just might change your mind is the path that would the right one to follow. God is the one to judge you, not me, or any one else. What greater or more powerful a testimony for God could there be, than someone who was out to disobey, with full intent to do so, yet found that Jesus still loved that person and was still willing to seek that person that they would give their life to Him. Many have, you have everything to gain, and nothing to lose.

Ohmygosh! No! Big fat No! Is that really how christians make you feel? Man, Im sorry! Please, try to remember that God loves ALL of us, and wishes for ALL of us to accept the freedom in living our lives through His light. Nobody ahs the right to judge you, or tell you your going to hell; they dont know, only God knows your heart. We are allin the same boat, honey! None of us are worthy, thatis why Jesus gave is a way to God. Please dont let others drive you away from the love that God has for you..

I'm not sure about other denominations of Christianity but committing suicide for a Catholic would definitely send him/her straight to hell. So the gay man/woman would probably just be better off enjoying his life if the afterlife destination was the same.

Heavens no! This would be true for any person contemplating suicide: your life is precious to God, He loves you and wants to give you a new life. Jesus told all who were weary and burdened down to come to Him to find rest.

Are you out of your mind? What makes you think any Christian would encourage any person, whatever they are guilty of, to commit suicide? It's not up to any Christian to decide where anyone is going to spend eternity. Only God can do that.
God, in His mercy, allows us all to live out our lives, even though none of us deserve our next breath. God is just as willing to extend His salvation, through Jesus Christ, to a homosexual as He is to anyone else. No one is beyond His reach.

Actually, there's a hope 4 gays just like there's a hope 4 anyone else. All they need to do is go to Jesus, give their lives to Him. If they do that, they'll be just fine, n no need for suicide!
There's one thing u should kno. Anyone alive has got the chance to save himself/herself from hell. N that's for sure.
