Why Do Islamic Women Put Up With Thier Abusive Men ?

Men of Islamic faith are so abusive and angry, beat thier wives and children. The women are probably beat up so badly, that is why they are covered up. Why can't a women in the Middle East pray to whom she wants and walk down the street when she wants ? Can women of Islamic Faith even take a crap without her man watching her every move ? Its no wonder the Middle East is a piece of 3rd world toilet wash.

well dear men regardless of thier faith r abusive and tyrant since all faiths make man superoir so they just take it thier way an ddo what ever they want out of thier insecurities or complexes they feel from women but this is ofr sure that only islam make women secure and respectable.you can not deny the plight of women in west.however i agree with you that most of the women do put up with bad men may be they dont have choice or they think that thier retaliation would not be respected however this all happens due to ignorance and unnecessary forbearance

Why do any women put up with abusive parteners? Some simply know no better, some are scared and feel helpless in changing the situation, some truly believe that that is the way of love. You can not single out Middle Eastern chickies, since Americans are extremely high on the abuse scale to both women & children, as are the numbers in every corner of this globe. Well from an outsider looking in, Muslim women are covered because their body is for their husband to enjoy and not the rest of the world. They are allowed to take it off in front of family in their homes.

You made a pretty general statement, although im sure islamic husbands are abusive, but you can find abusive husbands in any race, religion.

In the Islam culture, men are superior to women. That is what they were taught from day one of their lives. And women have been taught to respect their men, its apart of their religion, its something they think is right so they follow it. Its the only thing they know, they dont know how to have it any other way.

However i dont agree that men are superior to women, it is their religion. And the women can be abusive too. Not all middle eastern countries are "toilet wash" many countries live richly, Bahrain, UAE.

Just how us Americans are subjected to seeing mainly negitive images of the middle east, which are usually depictions of Iraq and Iran-it persues our judgement to them as angry people. But they are seeing the same thing about us.

There's a huge difference between 'culture' and 'Islamic religion'. "SOME" Arabs may be harsh and agressive, but when it comes to Islam, there is never a place for abuse.

Believe it or not (though it's obvious you won't) Muslim men are ordered to be very kind to their wives, a "hadieth" the prophet mentions says "the best of you are the best to their families" meaning to treat them well.

Get your facts straight first.

As it is, the West has a worse history of human rights abuses than anyone anywhere.

Including, lying to the entire world about mass destruction weapons to invade another mans oil rich country AND getting away with it.

Men in Islam are required to treat the women respectfully. I lived in Saudi Arabia (which is an Islamic country) most of my life, and women are treated with a lot of dignity and respect. Covering their bodies and head does not mean they are being mistreated or abused. The Islamic law wants women to cover up, is because to save them from strange mens lust. Women should only be for the pleasure of her husband, so muslim women do NOT cover in front of their husbands ofcourse, like they do in public. Christianity has LUST as major sins, so therefore, in order for women not to be lusted, is for them to COVER UP right? Besides, men in general, no matter what religion, are more violent than women all over the world, so bringing Islam into this isn't logical.

You know a lot on western women don't know what these muslim men are like, they think dark skin dark eyes handsome, but once you marry them they do what you said. I lived in a muslim country and know what sort of stuff goes on there, (Thank god I'm an orthodox and can have a mind of my own a wear what the heck I want and talk to whom I want) They pretty much don't have freedom as such. But to be fare to MUSLIM MEN there are other races who don't treat their partners well they do what those men do you would have heard a lot of cases I'm sure of it. I always warn my friends off these men and try to educate them about what could happen, I say date him for a long while and see how he treats you, his true colours will eventually show.
