You are still growing and you need the nutrients you get from milk for stronger bones and such. Everyone should be drinking milk or eating other types of dairy, no matter their age, honestly. I'm 29 and if I stopped drinking milk I'd get osteoperosis or something when I'm older, and that's no good.

Unfortunately, American milk is full of antibiotics and bovine growth hormone, that is banned everywhere, except the USA.
Milk is basically very fattening.
After all the nature designed it to put the mass really fast.
So, it is good for a calf, but not for a humane being.
If you live in other country, some fermented milk products of yogurt type are beneficial for one's health.

It should be. I haven't stopped drinking the homogenized cow piss since I was 14! :0)

But for you, I wouldn't stop. At your age, it is *critical* that you keep drinking milk.

if it's skim milk, it's actually good for you. you should be drinking at least 2 cups per day, or at least eating cheese or yogurt. if you're watching calories, try lowfat cottage cheese with fruit. it's yummy, and you're getting calcium, protein, and fruit all in one.
