Assuming you're talking about federal taxes, since NV doesn't have state income tax.

A hairdresser, like anyone else, can write off whatever actual business expenses they have - chair rental, supplies, equipment - whatever you actually have to pay in order to make your income.

It depends on how much she will pay IRS for the money she reports. Must pay taxes. How do they know how many heads you do.
