How do you say "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese (Brazilian dialect)? Thanks!

two ways:

feliz aniversario (felish any-ver-sah-ree-you)

or

parabens (pah-rah-bein-sh)

PS - i have no accents on this keyboard, hence the lack of accent on my answer.

also, while aniversario does indeed mean anniversary, all by itself in context it means birthday. any other anniversary would be specified. ex: happy wedding anniversary. birthday is, as it were, the default. parabens means (literally) congratulations. however, it is a normal birthday greeting.

Well, to correctly translate gwenwifar from below,

"Feliz Anniversario" literally means "Happy Anniversary," which could mean birthday(the "anniversary" of your birth), wedding anniversary, etc.

(fel-eej ah-nee-ver-sah-ree-oo)

"Parabens" is more like "cheers," "congratulations," or "i'm happy for you."
