He does...maybe you haven't been looking in the right place.

God helps those who help themselves, Man... has caused a lot of the sickeness and poverty. God gives us free will to be good or bad, random things that happen can be considered a blessing or some will not see it.

It is up to you to find your "diamonds", count the good things in your life and stop comparing your life to others. Are you healthy? do you know how many children die every week from diseases? Do you know how many people have limbs amputated? Do you know how many people lose everything due to fire, flood, or illness? If, you are able to get up and go outside and look at the sky, kick off your shoes and walk through the grass, have enough food to survive, have clothes to wear, and a warm/cool and safe place to sleep at night then you are blessed. Billions of people live in the hell of poverty where they dont eat for days, do not have clean water, or clothes, access to schools and are at risk from terrorists, wild animals, diseases and parasites.

It is thanking God for what you do have, counting your blessings and appreciating not only what you do have, but what you dont have... that is your diamond to hang on too.

God will answer your prayers if He feels that it is the right thing to do. The song... Thank God for unanswered prayers... and having complete faith in God will give you more than you ever dreamed of. You must be thankful in advance for the abundance He will give, your cup will runneth over.

God is great, but he allows us to lie, steal, cheat, murder, and will let the big corporations poison the waters, the land and air for nothing more than greed. The drug companies will put out drugs that they know will cause misery, dependence and other illness. It wasnt that long ago that the so called experts were non existant. Morphine, cocaine and opium could be ordered from the sears catalog. We as humans are trying to get through the tests of this life. Often some are taken and it seems like it is the "good " ones... it makes sense that the rest of us have somethings to learn.

What is it that you dont have? Think about it as you lay your head down to sleep in your bed tonight, say a prayer to God that He helps the sick, the homeless, the poor, the injured, the drugged addicted and ones devistated by loss.

God Bless you.

Would a diamond make you a better person. It might give you a feeling of elation that would be very short lived. If you were in a dire situation and God answered your prayer would your elation be shot lived? Chances are it would turn into something that would stay with you the rest of your life and would be a good feeling every time it crossed your mind. And you would think about God and thank him, which by the way is what he wants us all to do, have him in the forefront of our minds!
You tell me which has the most and lasting value!?

I think God usually helps those who need it the most, you know; healing the sick and afflicted. But, I think He also gives to those who help others. Have you volunteered to help anyone or organization lately? Give a homeless person a couple of dollars? Open a door or hold the elevator for anyone? Let a motorist pass in front of you or let them out of a driveway?

The more you do for others with a true and honest heart, the more God will shower you with blessings. Those blessings may not be huge, but they could be just what you need in a particular moment in your life.

God blesses & helps everybody! He gave us all free will. It is our choice to do what we want with our blessings & our choice to accept His help. He knows what you need. Maybe it is not a diamond at this time. Or maybe the diamond is not in true diamond form, there are many things in life more valuable than a diamond.

Unless you have no hands or legs, you can get off your butt and go get your own diamond. God helps those who can't help themselves. Last time I looked, there were still poor & sick people so, what blessings are you talking about?

You got God mixed up with Santa Claus. He is the Creator of the Universe, not your Sugar Daddy. He gives us what we need and sometimes what we want because He is very generous. He does show more favor to those who receive His Son, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior. If you are not getting what you want, make sure that you are right with God and then God will give you the desires of your heart. Remember it is a two way street, what are you giving to God?.

Should He bless only the healthy and rich? If they are healthy and rich, it seems like they have already been blessed. Don't be jealous of blessings another person might receive (assuming they received the blessings through legal and proper means.) Be happy for them. I wonder if the healthy and rich give thanks to God for the good things they have. Gods greatest blessings are eternal blessings. Blessings of sins forgiven and Heaven. It's up to us to accept this blessing and live accordingly.

Because it's your responsibilty to get the diamond yourself. A good health is neccesary; a diamond is not.
