Yes. I would rather be extraordinary, though. In fact, I might even risk an ordinary life just to be extraordinary. But life is definitely worth it even if it's ordinary.

Well I would think you'd want to do something extraordinary while living her on planet Earth? In fact... as many as you can during your lifetime!? What a waste if you don't! I've done an awful lot since I've been alive, and I couldn't see it any other way!! Besides... just think of all the wonderful experiences and memories you'll have when you finally get to an age where you can't do anything anymore! There's so MUCH to see and do, and soooo little time! Why waste it?

Friend....... can you yourself, by yourself create life. No, it takes at least two. Life itself is a gift some are dying to get. look at the wonders around you see the humor in life. You can't always control it (life), so learn to roll with the punches. You yourself was someone's creation. That is extraordinary! What a gift you and every human being are. If, you need to feel so on a daily basis, then do some volunteer work. visit the old folk's home, read to a child, pull random acts of kindness. Soon you'll see what a great being you really are!

Whether your life is worth living is up to you. It depends onhow you treat others, how you fufill your obligations, whether you are honest, etc.

Not on whether you "do something extraordinary" in the eyes of men. There are far more saints doing the small, everyday good works than anyone realizes. They are the ones who really make the world a better place--because they make the lives of those around them better.

If your path takes you to a place where you "do something extraordinary" well and good. But that's not the point of life.

Just doing the right thing all your life would be an extraordinary thing in itself. The justification for being alive is god put you here.

An average life is worth living. Extraordinary things happen everyday. They happen in bigger ways to some people, and in smaller ways to others. If you choose to live a quiet normal life (thx Warren Zevon!), that's your choice, and live it well!

However, an unexamined life? Jury's still out on that one, and Socrates wouldn't be fond of it.

I'm extraordinary in the fact that half of me is created by the strongest sperm.

That 1-million chance is amazing enough.

I plan on getting all that I can out of life.

Life is what you make of it. One man's average is another man's extraordinary, its a matter of perspective. Life and life circumstances are not the same thing.

life is worth living if you know the meaning, purpose, calling of your life. if you dont exert effort to know such you wont have direction in your life. enrich your spiritual life and you will know how unique you are and you are meant to do something in this life to glorify God. God has made each one of us unique so as our path in this life. extraordinariness is just a result of the passion that is exhibited from one's life, you dont have to seek for it first. the bible says people perish because of lack of vision in life. a good book i suggest for you is the " a purpose driven life" by rick warren. :)
