It has been caused by biting nails and skin ! its only in the corner of one finger ! wud any creams be good ! please help ! its annoyin !

cuticle cream. anything that says it will soften your cuticles.

First, purchase a pair of cuticle (the name of the skin) nippers or scissors, which ever you think you can handle best. Then, soak your nails in sudsy water to soften your cuticles. Dry them gently, then nip or cut off the loose skin only. Apply any good hand lotion each time you wash your hands.
Do not cut deeply into your cuticle. It's painful for days afterward and skin has lots of bacteria that can cause infections.

Try soaking your fingernails in Palmolive detergent mixed with water.

put a plaster on it for a couple of days.....
