I suppose most of them yes, but there are huge differences in their incomes; some of so called "new capitalists" are enormously rich and many jobs had been lost after the decline of communism...While communists limited freedom of
individuals, they also provided jobs for everyone, now is different not only in Russia, but also in other former communist countries...Many people have lost their jobs and are living on a verge of starving sometimes...
To think about environmental problems one first has to resolve questions of personal existence, won't you agree ?
When it comes to money; I don't believe common people have any chance of influence...If some dirty industry makes
enough money, corrupted politicians will cover all the dubious
decisions taken by profit seeking capitalists...
