because we chat online everyday ,and she is my coworker's best friend.she gave me her phone number,but i have never call cause i'm still not sure if i wanna date her.the problem is that i don't seek a long term relationship,which probably she prefer.i don't know what to do.

If you don't want a long term relationship tell her that, maybe she doesn't either. However if she does, move on and leave her be.

Call her, what could it hurt? Just be honest with her. Let her know what your looking for, and especially what your not. If you get along, have fun together, and are honest with one another, go for it, No harm, No foul.
