I want my soul to burn over and over and over again! I wanna be tortured endlessly! Roasted by the great big devil himself. Hail Satan! I'm on my way!

How's that, Christians? Think all atheists really CHOSE to not believe in God and Jesus and all that and that they want to go through all this never-ending pain down below in Hell? Do you really think that?

Oh lordy, connie, I'm decieved by Satan?

How do you know we're not good buddies? I have his phone number... should I give it a ring? He may be busy torturing a soul or two, but I'm sure he'll spare me some chatting.

Way to go!!

On one level, the Battle of Wills which we engage each other with right here&now is said "Lake of Eternal Hellfire", being a dynamic fluxus of forcings (the will being symbolised by Fire).

Examining Christian history, one finds it serves the Roman Empire's vestiges and is more the result of battles for Hearts and Minds via Fear and Brainlessness than of any great insight into spirituality per se.

Good Luck! (Learning to swim in an asbestos suit helps).

Yes I do. If you claim to be an atheist, then you have made a choice. A God-given choice. God gave All of us free-will. I doubt anyone wants to go to hell, but the problem lies in that probably most atheist don't believe in hell. But, remember believing or not in something, including hell does not diminish it's existence. We all chose who will be the Master of our lives -- Jesus or satan, whether you realize this or not. To deny God/Jesus is to be deceived by satan. The Lord in the Bible states that we cannot serve two masters. Not to choose God/Jesus is to choose the "other" master. Don't continue to make this eternally fatal choice. And YES it is a choice!

Hell is also a state of mind right here on the Earth. Be careful what you wish for sweetie, you get back what you put in the atmosphere. You may receive hell right now, that is, in one way or another, it may not be your soul burning over and over, but it will feel that way! Git my drift?

I w don't think you want to have that happen. But you do have a choose to believe or not to. Is someone making you not. You said:

"Think all atheists really CHOSE to not believe in God and Jesus and all that and that they want to go through all this never-ending pain down below in Hell?"

Yes. You do chose. You have free will. I we don't want you to burn. We want you and everyone else to have ever lasting life.

The most wonderful gift that God gives someone such as yourself is the right to choose. And, to answer your question, yes, I think that you will choose. It would seem by your own statements that you have already done so.

But let me ask you a simple question: If you are an atheist, why are you asking and answering questions in the Religion and Spirituality Section? Why would that be of interest to you? Just asking.

Aha, but will u go Mel Gibson when u get older? There is something beautiful about burning forever, like a star, I think it used to mean immortality & Christians just distorted the meaning.

Life is really short, u wake up one day and your 30 50 80 dead? think about it, maybe there might be alittle more to life than you think. So if for no other reason than there might be the slightest possibility that there is a heaven and hell why would you say somethin like that. And why get so passionate about something that is nothin more than a fairy tale to you...maybe deep down you know it could be true...? Ask yourself whats really goin on...? why am i so pissed...maybe this thing with God strikes a deep note with you cause you know He is real and your afraid to admit it...? you think...?

No, we don't think that atheists choose to go to hell. Nobody wants to go to hell. That's why we try to tell people about God. So that they can have eternal life in heaven.

I believe once you went down to Hell, you would quickly change your mind. By the way, Satan won't be torturing anybody, he will be tortured himself.
